Wow, these last ones all seem so yummy!
Tonight will be breakfast for supper - eggs baked in bacon rings, pancakes, hashbrowns.

I'm thinking that a covert garden raid at my in-laws is in order for tonight. New potatos, peas, carrots, onions, and baby beets...and I suppose I'll have to throw something on the grill for my carnivore. Homemade poppy seed rolls for dessert! Mmmm...

Aw, I want all of these since my last post - especially the schnitzel - haven't had it in ages. However, Safeway has pork roast on sale this week, so maybe I can convince my husband to make it this weekend. Yes, I can make it, but his is better - that Eastern European flair, you know. He takes the time to pound the pieces paper thin --- droool.
And man, poppyseed buns.... hey, it's not going to be hot the next few days, maybe I can actually bake! I tend to get out of the habit when summer is hot.

Kidding. Probably grilled chicken with fresh Okanagan peaches and basmati rice with a shredded side salad.

Since I've had red meat 2 nights in a row.....I'm having something light tonight.
Scrambled egg on a whole wheat Italian bread, topped with mayo and spring greens.
Maybe some broccoli on the side. Please have pets spayed and neutered.

Thats what I think too, since the roast will need to cook for awhile I decided to utilize my oven and have made an angel food cake for desert and also a lemon cake and some cupcakes for work lunches, since I'm sure there will be roast beef sandwiches as well. I like it when its cool it inspires me to bake. Yesterday I made 5 loaves of bread, a couple dozen ham/pineapple pizza buns and 3 doz cinnamon buns. Now I know thats not whats for dinner tonight but thats what we had for dinner last night, and lunches are looked after for the week.
