Dh just headed out to pick up KFC chicken, fries, and $1 chocolate thing. I made coleslaw and will have a glass of milk with it.
I have another migraine right now and taught noisy kids all day. I also have to keep working on the university course that I am taking. Supper home sounded better than eating out.
Feel better Angela.
Chicken, rice & salad with a side of boring.........
It's cold, but BBQ this evening..prime rib steaks, potato, garden salad, mushrooms, etc...
BBQ salmon, mashed taties and broccoli-maybe I should think of a dessert too.
I bought a fresh turkey at Costco after Christmas for a good price. A whole turkey is kind of unmanageable for the three of us, so I got out my nice sharp Henckles knife and chopped it in half. Tonight we are having the second half from the freezer.
I'm not familiar with that one. But I'd suggest, take a small amount of each, put in a small crockpot on a day you're home and can watch it to see it doesn't overcook (since it will be a small amount and crockpots should really be at least half full) and see what happens?
Tonight, lasagne, garlic toast, assorted veg
Tonight was pasta bake to use up some leftover pasta we had in the fridge from earlier in the week so I just had to make the sauce.
I also made homemade sourdough bread, this was okay. I was looking at sour dough recipes but never made the sour dough starter so I used a recipe that did not call for the starter and considering it does not have the starter in it, it did have an okay flavour. The downside was it did not rise a lot and came out really dense. It is okay but it does seem something in the recipe is off.
Hey Momof5boys here is some links to recipes on the Renees website. The one with the chicken could easily be changed out for beef!! they actually had quite a few nice recipes on their website, i only copied a few!! Good Luck

Pancakes with maple syrup :)
slow moving squirrels
Potatoes, ribs and sauerkraut
we're having homemade tomato soup & mac & cheese. I'll get whats-his-name to make a salad.
baked 3 huge sweet potatoes, made 8 giganto burgers ( from ground chicken ), but I feel I should also offer a Caesar salad.
( is what's his name available Loocie??)
Ribs ($2/lb), potatoes with onions, coleslaw or some steamed veggies with a glass of milk.
I am thinking about baking buns this week. Last time I baked buns was over 10yrs ago. They were heavy. Just last week I was given a copy of Grandma's bun recipe. I found it particularly touching because my mom gave me the recipe...this was my mom's MIL...but my parents have been divorced for 26yrs and she still uses this recipe. Grandma went into long term care nearly 4yrs ago now. I'm hoping to do the recipe justice. I bake all kinds of goodies, just never got into baking bread.
Turkey dinner! Mashed potatoes with gravy and fresh broccoli. Best part is I cooked the turkey last night so just have to heat it up :)
Chicken fingers, fries, and onion rings.
Shepherd's pie (I made two extra for the freezer) and Moroccan Spiced Chickpea soup.
made chicken adobo and rice, and it was good!!!!!!!
Made a favorite of my mom's recipes for chicken (only make it twice a year, oy on the calories!), had it with rice baked with peas and carrots, with the butter and juices from the chicken poured overtop, plus a sweetly dressed salad.
Oh, I ate so very much, and so did everyone else, lol!

sloppy joes, baby carrots and blondies for a sweet treat:P
have some pitas to use up, so will just keep it simple and make some veggie pizzas--tomatoes, spinach, mushroom, onion, black olives..lots of basil and mozzarella!
Yesterday was a huge party at MIL's and we had curry & meatballs, rice, lemon chicken, Greek lemon potatoes, an amazing lentil salad with grilled veggies :P and then came the desserts...... ;) chocolate mouse, fresh raspberry terrine, and apple crisp (All homemade by MIL).
Tonight is "clean out the fridge" soup :P
Tonight was basketball night for DS, so it's grab what you can because we're really short on time. I ended up with turkey, black beans (cooked in the crockpot today) mushrooms, onions and peppers.
