how do u guys cook it?
Go with your gut. If it doesn't smell right, that's your body's way of sayin' "don't eat it," in my opinion.

I'm a fan of "the sniff test" too. lol. I've tossed many things out that I'd already cooked just because the smell didn't sit right with me. (Although, the sniff test doesn't work for things like sour cream--which, if gone bad is still undetectable unless there's physically mold on top of it.)

Salmon should not stink. Yes, there will be some seafood smell to it, but it should not be a pungent odour that makes you wanna gag.

A nice big pot of soup sounds good to me as well because this morning, it's snowing out there--all over my apple blossoms and flowers. Gah. It's a good day for a cozy warm blanket and a big pot of soup.

Oh, wow - I saw the snow on the news.... and here we are in the mid-20s!
Yesterday I made soup for supper even though it was hot, and we were sweating because I had the oven going, too, lol!

Last night I made stuffed peppers (SOO good might I add) -- so leftovers are my lunch today. Tonight DD & DH are fending for themselves as I have a work function and dinner is provided.

I know I have thanked Natalka before for the lazy cabbage roll recipe, but now I was able to modify it to suit DD and my diet!!
Used extra lean ground turkey, no salt Chicken broth to saute the onions in, few shakes of the no salt spice ( Blue menu makes them) , no salt diced tomatoes, ( I replace the canned tomato soup in the original with diced tomatoes ) and voila! We are enjoying the same great taste!

A mix and mash of different fish fillets, topped with home made dijon/lemon/honey and herb sauce and served with sautéed asparagus!
Bread on the side. Easy dinner as I was feeling...lazzzzy. The sauce was so good! I can't wait to drizzel it on everything. lol
