We just finished a Sheperds pie for dinner and the best part is somebody else cooked it instead of me LOL

Tonight is honey-mustard glazed ham, and roasted cauliflower risotto (from Sept's Canadian Living)....I can't wait to eat!!!!!

I guess it's not summer anymore if I'm not afraid to get the oven going and roast a chicken like I did tonight. Finally, some good home cookin'! Last night's supper was airline food... I'm not exactly sure what it was!

Sorry, I just gotta get in one more gassy quip. I thought of it after reviewing the last couple of pages of this thread.
A friend of mine was trying to make the point that passing some gas can actually be a sign of good health. He quoted his grandfather who used to say:
"A farting horse will never tire!
A farting man is the one to hire!"
I presume it was for outside work. ;-)

Im thinking pizza.... Im tired already and its only 11:30am!! LOL Im not cooking anything major tonight! so frozen pizza it is! and Im gonna pick up a garlic bread too.... bad I know!

I feel awful today ... sore throat especially so I think I'm just going to do sausages,instant scalloped potatoes and mixed veggies but a bigger part of me prefers take out LOL

A cottage roll is kind of like a boiled ham .... My experience with Cottage Rolls is whenever I decide to make a homemade split pea or yellow pea soup (hey that sounds good) I boil a cottage roll and then use the juices to make my pea soup from it ... plus add some meat too ... Yummy!!
