We went out for Chinese tonight. The restaurant that was destroyed in the Goderich tornado recently re-opened. It was as good as we remembered. We had the buffet and of course ate way too much.
I wanted to add a note about the ribs - gosh, they were meaty and delish. I had boiled them yesterday, and husband BBQed them perfectly.
Interestingly, they are from Austria - so the label says. They were 8.80/kg and two slabs were just under $13 and plenty enough for the two men and me. Glad there's another package in the freezer for another time!
One thing I was surprized with - first time using Sweet Baby Ray's sauce - so many SCers have written about it over the last while with getting it cheap/free with coupons, etc. Got two bottles for $3, the regular flavour.

Tonight we have a ton of running around to do so we will have to grab something on the run as there will be no time to eat at home.
I'm currently roasting an entire turkey. We'll have it with potatoes, maybe salad or boiled veggies. I will strip and freeze the turkey tomorrow for future meals. LO and I are temporarily moving up to Sasaktoon on Thursday to wait for the arrival of the twins. I'll be 36wks pregnant tomorrow.
edit: tonight's supper is roast turkey, boiled perogies, cauliflower with a cheese sauce, cucumber salad, sour cream, cranberry sauce, and a glass of milk.
Last night I picked a zucchini - sliced it, breaded it (flour, egg, panko), then fried in a bit of olive oil. Wow was that delicious. After years of hating zucchini, by preparing it this way, now it is one of my favourite things to eat. I served it with pasta and sauce, but could have just eaten zucchini!
