I made nalysnyky (kinda a cross between pancakes and crepes, filling of dry cottage cheese and dill - baked with whipped cream and butter), which were mmmmmm....

Also made Olymel wings - but alas, they were way too spicy for me, BBQ with chipotle - but the men liked them!

Oh, one of my favourites. I only make them for Christmas eve dinner, I should make them more often. Where do you get your dry cottage cheese? I find it hard to come by or do you drain regular cheese.

A couple of nights ago, I made pork lettuce wraps. Super cheap as I got the ground pork for $0.87 on clearance.

Last night I made poblano peppers stuffed with hot Italian sausage, salsa, corn topped with cheese. Super cheap again as pretty much everything was bought with a coupon and the peppers were 50% off.

Tonight I'll be having Lobster Volcano sushi rolls. Available this week only at RCSS - $9.00 ($8ish for me as I get a 10% discount). Off to enjoy it now!!

We have a dairy-free Christmas Eve, so don't have them then. I usually make nalysnyky every few months; my son loves them! Well, so do I!

Usually I get dry cottage cheese from Co-op.. Comes in a 750 ml carton (used to come in a bag). Noticed this time the cheese was really fine, so didn't have to smush it much, and it was yummy. I don't think they order many in, it was the last one, and it was totally fresh.
Safeway also carries it; Superstore's brand is fine, too.

    - awesome that you got ground pork for such an amazing price! Here, the cheapest I bought it lately was $4.39 kg, and I was happy to buy it at that!

Harbie, that looks SO darn good!

Left over turkey and stuffing made into a sandwich!
It was gone in literally 2 minutes and then I chugged three glasses of cold water because I felt like I couldn't breathe from inhaling an entire sandwich...in 2 minutes.
    Yum!
