Last night I made homemade pizza - with our fave leftover baked ham, pepperoni, regular cooked ham, onions, mushrooms, green peppers, and cheddar. I made a massive thick crusted, heavy on the toppings and cheese one for the men, and two other lighter versions.

For Mothers Day, I'm grilling steak. In the rain. Steak is my favourite, I'm really the only cook here, but it's all good. Hubby is good about cleaning up!

My choice for my Mother's Day meal was lobster tails ( because Metro had a wee sale on them) Will be eating that shortly with GF cold pasta spirals and veg...baked manicotti, coleslaw, hot off the BBQ is some baked acorn squash, skewers of chicken breast, other skewers with just veg, ( tri colour peppers, shrooms, etc.) Grillem sausage and Blue Menu Sirloin burgers for the guys. Plus a big ole green salad. Then bring on the Leaf's tonight!!

We invited friends over and hubby made assorted salads and will be grilling steak and chicken. DD can do clean up and the friends are bringing dessert. Very casual for a hot day here.

^Thanks for the Mother's Day message, Natalka!
I don't like going out to restaurants at the best of times, so I certainly didn't want to brave it on one of the busiest days of the year. My family would have gone out to eat in a heartbeat.
I made supper but it was really simple. Maple Salmon, rice and veggies.
