Since the weather has turned cold - Hubby made Turkey Drumsticks (small ones from RCSS and 30% off stickers ) box of stuffing (i know - should have done homemade...) and can of peas! Really inexpensive meal and really tasty! Reminded me of Thanksgiving and btw why is it so darn cold in August?!?! I'm freezing with a sweater on lolz

I don't know about dindin but for lunch, since I am solo : fried eggs, toast and a pear fruitsation. Yum !
For dinner I took out some steaks. I don't know about sides yet but that's all I have planned for now..
Hopefully I manage to cook them right and tasty; I always have a hard time with steak especially when it's indoors and not on the BBQ.

BBQ burgers with fresh corn on the cob and green beans. DD made brownies last night so I guess there are plenty left for dessert.

Tried a new recipe !!I brined a pork loin and then did a lemon herb rub and did it on the rotisserie on the barbecue. Definitely a keeper, served it with fettuccine tossed with pesto and asparagus.

Chicken strips with honey mustard dip, a big Greek salad, blueberries with vanilla yogurt. I just love the taste of fruit and fresh vegies in the Summer!

Yesterday, made roasted chicken pieces, with tons of garlic gloves and onions, used the broth/drippings to serve over baked rice with mixed veggies, served with homemade bucket pickles.
Today, I'm making slowcooker chili - and there's leftover rice and chicken to eat up - which is rare, it was a big birdie!
(By the way, my son really made me laugh - he had brought up the chicken from the freezer, and when I looked at it, it was labelled "Bok Bok" - that's what I get for asking him to label when I repackage stuff!)

I'm not sure what is for supper tonight.
Here's my update.
Tuesday: I cooked bacon with some fresh mushrooms and celery. I used a can of mushroom soup and some seasoning to make a sauce. I served it over egg noodles with a big glass of milk.
Wednesday: Fish sticks ($1 for the box), hash browns (50c for half the bag), broccoli (35c worth), and some peas (25c worth?)
Thursday: ?
Friday: ?
Saturday: dh requested that I thaw a pork loin for him to cook up.
Sunday: Home made lasagna (leaving this to the weekend because then dh and I can do it together).
Our son is 11 months old right now. He's a pretty good eater, but he does not like any type of pasta and he only eats potatoes occasionally. He's like his dad and LOVES all types of crackers. He really likes his dry Rice Krispies, and Cheerios some too. He LOVES avocado, so he gets that often. He'll eat most veggies and fruit (apples, bananas, cherries, watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, cooked pears, preaches (sometimes), nectarines (sometimes), peas, sweet potato, broccoli (sometimes), carrots (sometimes), etc.) He likes ham, chicken, and roast deer. He's not so sure about beef. He'll also eat eggs. He likes cheese. We give him marble cheese. Last week was his first time having cottage cheese and he liked it better when I mixed it with some avocado or apple sauce.
Any interesting suggestions of other foods or meals to try with him?
He's not supposed to have milk, berries, or nuts until he is a year old.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money
