So many yummy meals posted here!
Friday was tuna pasta casserole; yesterday was Mennonite sausage baked with potatoes and onions, served with a salad.
Tonight - ah, heaven! Husband is making schnitzel; we'll also have smashed potatoes and some sorta veggie.

Last night was venison roast stuffed with pate on the BBQ with mashed potatoes and peppercorn gravy and a side of roasted cauliflower and carrots.
Tonight is roast chicken with mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, and another vegetable ...need to go dig in the freezer to see what we have or maybe I will venture out and buy a turnip!!!

Tonight will be pigs in blankets with jalapeno cheese wrapped up inside. I'm too lazy to venture out for groceries today since I have school work that needs to be accomplished and am running low on veggies and good healthy things...Will do shopping after work tomorrow.

Left the weeks meals all for today to cook. Jumped in early to drain the many dried beans that had soaked overnight, but did the cooking of them in the huge crock pot this time, while I went to Metro for a few FPC redeems! Then returned to finish it off by making chili. Next took the 8 cups cooked rice out of the rice cooker and turned it into a shrimp and plenty 'o veg fried rice. Baked 2 huge acorn squashes again ( have been baking and eating those types for about 3 weeks now, lol...I am in a mood for squash)
Been sitting and avoiding making other stuff ever since. Thinking about a possible pasta dish using the Classico White Sauce, chicken breasts pieces ( with some baby peas....bad, I know starch), but I need opinions from the late sleepers here.

i think most peas in general have a low glycemic index, and pasta (al dente) has a medium glycemic index number, if i remember right. anyways, pasta is better for you than bread, even multigrain or whole wheat bread, when it comes to the glycemic index
