CHICKEN WRAPS.
Stopped by safeway and used their 50% off on chicken tenders - ended up with 15 pieces for about $5.50, a large bag of salad mix (ice berg, carrots, radicchio) $3.50, flour tortillas $3.99, tomato, peppercorn ranch, and cheese (already have the last 3 ingredients at home).

On my own tonight, so I cut leftover chicken off the bone, put it in a bit of gravy I made up. Had leftover rice and peas, added some corn off the cob to that.
Husband's at a bbq after golfing with work - gah, I wish I had a burger!

Tonight is burgers on the bbq with homemade potato wedges. And the best part is he will take over the kitchen
I will putter around getting camp bag emptied and lunch pail washed, air out hockey gear, get laundry gathered so I am ready to put a load on at 7pm. Hope the rain holds off because DS and I wanted to take a bike ride to his school to check out the new play equipment we see when we drive by!

Got my burger wish tonight! Had a Kahuna burger (basically a deluxe) and fries from a local burger joint. Husband hadn't realized they changed the menu and it was just on the kids/seniors menu, so he didn't get the big burger he wanted. They used to have a big one, too, but now they've gone all 'artisan'...
However, portion was a 'normal' adult size!
added -- because they were kids meals they came with frozen treats - basically a dilly bar copycat - but tastier because they make their own ice cream/ having it now after 11 - it's yummyLast edited by Natalka; Fri, Aug 28th, 2015 at 12:11 AM.

Taking my wife out to a really nice restaurant tonight. Haven't decided where yet, I'm in the dog house so some MAJOR sucking up has to happen.
