Big pot of homemade soup almost done - rib broth with onions, celery, barley, rice, corn, peas, carrots, green beans, potatoes, and lots of dill.

Added - I had to add some noodles because my son said no one else makes soup with both potatoes and pasta, lol.

We are visiting my dad and his wife this weekend. Last night's supper was delicious. On the BBQ we had beef steak, bison steak, the foil packets contained large pieces of onion, potato, and carrot and a glass of milk. It's my Dad's Birthday, so dessert was angel food cake with sugar free Chapman's Icecream.

I just noticed Loblaw stores have PC rolling pins under $10 and they are nice. I keep trying to come up with a reason NOT to buy one. You're no help!

I used a 1 litre pop bottle to roll it out lol. Have to let it rest a bit so it doesn't keep streching back.

I have my grandmother's rolling pin which I think is older than I am.

Supper will be leftovers. Potato salad, coleslaw and hotdogs.

What a great May 24 weekend so far!! Friday night started out with a later supper of mussels...and then we went to a birthday party and on the short list they had ham, turkey, wings, various potato salads, CAKE!! ...got up yesterday morning and decided to go to the cabin, I brought the last of the mussels, made a donair pizza, taco dip and we had steaks, hot dogs, grill'ems, corn on the cob for supper...among other things!!!...todays lunch was fish & brewis which was delicious and a treat!!..now we're all home and going out for chinese food and getting geared up to go back to the cabin tomorrow for 2-3 days...

When I make pizzas, I put a blob of dough right on a greased pan (if you don't have a pizza pan, anything will do), and use my greased fingers to poke and stretch out the dough. I've never rolled out pizza dough.

Supper tonight will be BBQ back ribs, roasted potatoes, and pasta salad - to which I added grated carrots, cauliflower, minced gherkins and cocktail onions.
