What's For Dinner?

It was our anniversary today, plus it was really hot and humid, so our son was over and we had takeout.
I had a half slab of baby back Greek ribs, half a baked potatoes, assorted veggies. Will have the lemon rice soup and salad tomorrow.
Husband had liver. Son had blackened walleye, ha, he said mine is better - such a sweet son. However, theirs was good, I tasted a piece.
They also had dry garlic ribs.

Hot temps continue in NFLD...bbq'd chops yesterday, potato, greek salad, macaroni salad...another bbq later, still deciding what will be on the menu

I’m going to do a major grocery shop this morning, so whatever looks good to me is what we will have tonight. It’s going to be 37 plus degrees today, so after my walk and shopping this morning, I may just hang out in the house and catch up on chores, paperwork, organizing etc.

Leftovers tonight. I made a broccoli grape salad to go with.

I decided we are having tacos tonight. I’ve the filling made and the veg chopped up. I made a southwest quinoa and black bean salad as a side. The coronas are on ice,ready and waiting😎

We ordered an extra large meatzza pizza from Dominos for 50% off Monday. We had canned pineapple and a cup of milk with it.

Last night was chicken ceaser salad (with homemade healthy dressing!)

Tonight- Need to figure that out

It’s 40degrees here...I think too hot to bbq tonight. I played tennis this morning and feel wiped out now and zero appetite. Dh and I may just make a charcuterie board to nosh on and call it a day.

Went to Swiss Chalet and was disappointed with their crispy chicken dinner. Looked much better on the menu than in reality.

Ah, and we had a good experience with crispy chicken tonight. Got the nine piece from Sobeys, was pleasantly surprised with how juicy it was, seasoned nicely, and a yummy coating that wasn't greasy.
Only thing husband didn't like was that there was more white than dark - I eat both, but usually eat white since he doesn't.
Had potato wedges and onion rings with.

Today is twins’ 3rd Birthday. We had roast ham, oven baked french fries, canned pineapple, with steamed broccoli and cauliflower. We had iced brownies cupcakes for dessert.

It has been hot here and we keep getting rain right about dinner time which means no BBQing so I have to get creative.

Tuesday night was lets see what I can use up so I pulled an some leftover Beef Roast from the freezer, added Mushrooms, Onions, Carrots, Celery a full carton of broth and some spices and make a semi Shepard Pie base. It was too hot to use the oven so I just reheated some Mashed Potatoes we had and served it over Mashed Potatoes.

Last night I made Caprese Portobello Mushrooms with a Quinoa Salad with Balsamic Dressing to us up some Quinoa and Cucumbers we had in the fridge.

Tonight is a mystery but Mom is off so I am hoping she plans dinner and I can just go home and eat.
