Aw, thanks you guys - and yes, I feel a bit like the pug above!

First off, turns out all the pain I had over last weekend after the first extraction was dry socket and I got heck from Dr. Underwear for not having called him at home on the weekend for medicine. I just didn't want to be a baby...
Because of that, there's a high likelihood it will happen again with this one... but I hope not.
This was a bigger molar being done today so I was really more worried, but after having to stop three times to get more needles and once for a different type of med, the sucker finally came out. Gawd, it felt like my whole jaw was being ripped out - at that point no pain, just the pressure.
However, I was in the chair at 10:20 and out by 11, so that was pretty good.
I had also had big shaking last week, and it happened again today - turns out I'm sensitive to the adrenaline which is in the anaesthetic - the dentist said most people would only feel it for a few minutes, while my reaction lasts hours. Yeah, I love being 'special', lol!
Anyhow it's done. I'll stay awake for a while to change the gauze before I down some more Advil and head to bed for the rest of the afternoon.
... and the only thing I can think of when I paid the bill (luckily only 20%, my husband's insurance covers the rest) is that we have to pay to go through torture - just doesn't seem right somehow!

Thanks for listening... it helps to get this all out! I can't phone anyone to talk; they wouldn't be able to understand me!

I attended a work recognition conference today and they ran out of chicken and roast been before our table was called up. The presenter was good, but it would have been nice to have a complete meal too.

Who organized it? Just so I don't hire them.

    Good morning, everyone!

Some poor misguided gentleman called me at 6am to discuss an important matter.

    "Hi, I'm here."
"Yes?" (no witty retort from this non-morning person)
    "It's your neighbour."
    "Who?"
"Chris, it's your neighbour. We have to get those trees cut down."
    "Um, I don't have..."
    "You're not still asleep?"
(well, given my responses, it's a fair assumption) "I'm afraid you have the wrong..."
"Do you want to do this this morning or not, Chris?"
"I'm not Chris, I'm in a condo, I don't have trees, & you have the wrong number."
    "Oh. Sorry. Good-bye."

Let's hope Chris isn't still waiting for a phone call.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

How annoying! Poor Chris just may be wondering what happened.

I had a message left on my cell phone, by a very nice sounding man who said things were not going well & that he would be quite late as he still had to pick up the drywall & drop Kevin off & he ended by saying I love you Bess...... Nice message for a wrong number. I hope Bess didn't have dinner waiting for him.

Oh..my sister was at a charity party last night for her coworker who's husband was just diagnosed with a brain tumor and given 6 months to live unless its removed...well the waiting in our home town is about a year so he needs to go to the states and they have 4 young boys and he is only 30! SO sad...anyways my sister and her other coworkers from the pre school attended the party and my sister won the 50/50 draw which was $100, she donated it back to the couple...she said she felt bad taking anything when the whole point was to raise money lol so they gave her a BIG basket full of goodies instead (that was the door prize but everyone at the party agreed she deserved it) - she keeps making me prouder and prouder hehe

My phone number is very similar to the local public pool so people call on weekend mornings and ask if there are any public swims.I tell they I am just filling up the bathtub and to come on over!! Also we get calls for WM asking for the household dept. I say well I am standing in my kitchen!!
