Am also emailing politicians and emailing media recommending that the Board of Directors respond to the communities offers to help - 3 vet hospitals have come forward to help...we just need some answers....they need to be accountable and truthful...
our fury animals have no voice....I thought these places were their safe haven...silly me....

Hi Michele, Yes, a picnic would be great. If your off in July that would be good, I think, except the first few weeks I may be away, may I say, I'm not sure at this point, I should book something but haven't yet! Anyways, the island would be nice except depending what everyone is bringing you may have to carry it a ways over with the ferry and then finding a table etc. but I would like to go there. There is my area, the beaches, you can get by the lake pretty easy and park by there, if you go early! I'm not just saying that cause its easy for me but it is a nice spot and food and drink are close by. Anyways whatever, I hope we can get something together it would be great to meet up and have some fun on a nice summer day! Well, decide on something for sure pretty soon okay? Have a restful few days you seem to work a lot! TTYL!

Good Morning Michele. How very kind of you to ask about Muki - I picked her up yesterday afternoon. She is still not well but is feeling a little better! The vet now says she appears to be battling a virus, which has attacked her pancreas, AND a fungal infection. Yikes!! She has a new anti-fungal med and it will probably take another day or two for her to perk up. I'll take her back in 30 days, assuming nothing bad happens between now and then. I'm so happy to have her back, and she was so excited to see me yesterday, she jumped right onto my hand when I reached into the cage to change her water!

My little birdie was kept overnight at the vet college. I will pick her up later today and they will be sending her home with some new med's. I miss her! Thanks for asking about Muki.

Hi Michele: Yes, I did get to meet a few SCers! It was great. I went with Andit, (went as her guest as she was going on her own) We went in together and ended up sitting with Wolfie and Lee! Lee had said she would be wearing a shiny blue jacket, we seen that on the back of a chair, then she was walking by and we put 2 and 2 together! We all sat together and had a great time! Derringer gave more chances than he was supposed to to get called into the cash machine, but luck did not shine upon our table, however we all agreed we had a great time! Take Care!
