OMG Vee, those wreaths are amazing and I am so ripping off your idea this year. I'll post when I've completed one. I need stuff to keep myself busy this winter as we're not going away. I promised a dd that I would babysit cause her new job at Carewest has her working some wonky shifts.

I really like this idea with the mason jars. I'm all about mason jars, lol not sure why, I just like them. Yesterday I was at WIN (a second hand store in my area) and I purchased 3 quart jars from 1945, Crown jars with the glass sealers and original tin lids. Got them for $1 each so I couldn't say no. Not sure what I'm going to do, but something pretty for sure. I'll post when done. I'm thinking about this

THOSE are the cutest!!!! I'm thinking of the mess they'll make as they melt in the spring or in the winter sunshine! But oh, they're so cute!!! Good find, Coyote!!!
You know.....it would sure brighten up the place when all the Christmas lights go out in January....gosh it looks so depressing after that.....I wish Christmas lights could be on all winter to just keep things cheerful..ler....Last edited by Lynn49; Tue, Oct 29th, 2013 at 10:33 PM.

along the same lines as the balloons...we fill spray bottles (or water bottles with the cap on and a hole poked in the cap) with water and food colouring. the kids make snowmen and then spray/squirt them with the water to make a tie-dyed snowman (or snowfort etc). we made a huge one in our front yard last winter..he was the coolest snowman on the block for sure.
When life hands you lemons, make a lemon pie... lemonade will be all like WTH?!?

Oh, these ombre vases are too cute! I'd love to make a set in white glitter, then silver, then the lightest blue at the bottom....or...or....white then just adding red....and he's right: glitter in the kids' section of Michaels is so cheap with your 40% off coupons!
Esp if one has ugly glass containers around....sorry I don't know how to put it in here, so here's the site with lots more crafty ideas!!

I posted this on another thread, but I'm still listening to it...perhaps you'd like to listen...it'll really get you into the mood...although I doubt anyone on here is having a problem with that! It's pretty traditional stuff...of my childhood days...

Cheap, easy and so personal! I can see these hanging across a mantle, or placed on gifts instead of tags!

I really like these cute Christmas mice, and they look easy to make.
