Whats it like in your neck of the woods?

Our days have been in low 20s, had a bit of rain today, but probably more tonight.
My brother lives in North Battleford, about 130km west of here - they had a HUGE storm today - at 3 p.m. he was shovelling hail out of his driveway (it dips down at an angle from the street to the garage). They have declared the city a state of emergency. Luckily his house is in a higher section of the city, so no flooding.

Ha, here I am a week later - it's HOT at 28 and MUGGY, ew! With no wind outside, nothing cools off. Fans inside not doing a great job

It is a gazillion degrees with the humidity,thought I'd never make it home from a walk,I'm in a bad mood and sick of it all.

Oh, boy, Skippy - you'd be much more comfortable here - today was 19 for the high, with a little bit of rain. That's pretty much what it will be like for the next two weeks; the nights are going down to five degrees or so.

Feels like the first of July, not the first of September.

And on this day of 34 degrees with a humidex of 40 freakin 4 degrees, my kids were plotting out what they're gonna wear on the first day of school next week-- long sleeved leopard shirt, black and white leopard skirt with black leggings and those "awesome" new boots they bought. Oh yeah, and knee length socks because apparently, in their world, those are the newest fascination.

I had to turn away so they wouldn't see me laugh.

Its hot and humid over here - dont even want to look at weatheroffice.gc.ca to see the actual temperature. I am sitting here with every window open in my home, every fan working, and I am still am working up a sweat by just being here typing!!!

Its sick but I am actually looking forward to the rain and lower temps hurricane Earl is supposed to bring.

i just looked outside... it's pouring! but the humidex still shows 35 degrees, so it's not all bad

Cold - nine degrees here at almost 10 a.m. - rainy, dull ---- second day in a row, probably a few more to come. Ew....
