Remarks: Showers are expected to transition to snow Thursday night from west to east. A prolonged period of snow, at times heavy, is forecast to last into Saturday night with the highest snowfall amounts expected in central and northeastern Newfoundland. The snow may change to ice pellets or freezing rain over some areas on Saturday. Conditions will improve on Sunday.

Time span: overnight tonight until Saturday night.

Remarks: After a period of rain this evening, snow will develop tonight and persist through Friday and Saturday. Conditions will deteriorate quickly as snow will be heavy at times. Precipitation may mix with or change to ice pellets or freezing rain for some areas on Saturday before transitioning back to snow Saturday evening.

Its been very Spring-like here the past couple of days and will continue through the weekend, unfortunately! +3-4 in the afternoon lots of sunshine (NL March weather!) Luckily the bit of snow we have is holding for now...supposed to turn "cold" again starting Monday

well, yesterday we got hit with another storm, 15c of snow, blowing snow, etc. Was very very bad here. Hubby was out this morning shoveling but its a nice sunny cold day today!
