A couple of years ago, I was coming in from a walk with the dog, when my neighbour stopped me. Apparently, a field mouse had found his way into the lobby of my building. My neighbour asked whether my dog would catch the mouse, so I asked the dog to "Find It". She had great fun trying to find whatever it is that we stupid humans wanted...until the mouse ran between her legs. She jumped in the air, then took off towards the elevators.

I went down alone later & managed to shoo the poor thing outside.

My cat would be a better bet at catching unwanted houseguests. He's especially good at catching fruit flies. He sits quietly, his eyes glaze over, then...he claps his front paws catching the pest & pops it in his mouth.

Did I mention he was an oddball?

Ok, I am only on for 30 seconds to make sure everyone is ok, and to update the wiki.

Had Christmas today, still helping hubby to clean up and stuff.. I will report in tomorrow with how it went, was a very nice day! Even the kids were great all day, till crying at bedtime, but who doesn't cry when they have new toys to play with

Gee, you're dedicated. I can barely stand pan-frying liver (hate the smell), but at least I don't have to go hunting.

Heck, I can't even bring myself to kill spiders - which is why I have the boy around, he's the official bug catcher.

Hi everyone... Just letting everyone know what I will be up to over the next few days..
This stupid snow slowed me down big time. But at least I got all my baking done while it was snowing. Bought last 2 gifts Staurday..Had to deliver cookies and gifts today to bubblekat. She lives about 65 miles away from me. Then went to Thousand Oaks which is a good 75 miles from my house. Tomorrow I have to go grocery shopping tomorrow before we get more snow. Then off to Northern California which is a good 10 hours away without snow, rain or fog.. To get my other daughter & her baby for Christmas, and be home by Christmas eve morning to cook. OMG.. I need a jet to do all of this.. Plus snow..NO MORE SNOW PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEE..If we get snow I am SCREWED big time. I will have to drive up the coast and it will take me 3 times as long..I still have to clean family room..
It is almost midnight here..

So I am going to try and get some sleep.

If I am not back on ya'll know why now.
Anyhow..

there was an ad in the newspaper under employment in giant letters it said SINGERS WANTED then it said it was for a broadway production and that they were looking for people to fill a chorus and a few people to do solo singing and it gave the number to call so I figured I would give it a shot not hurting anything since they are auditioning in my area anyways and if I get in that would be friggen awesome

Rose, i have a photographer friend who's done shoots for myself and a few of my friends. I know he's done headshots etc for others. He normally works out of belleville but he'll travel to shoot as well. If you're interested send me a pm and ill give you his contact info.

That mouse is somewhere hiding ... went down to the main floor this a.m. and it took me hours to get the nerve to come back up here. Saw the little b before I went down, he had the nerve to sit on my monitor and look at me!!!!! aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

that is too cute/funny. i have mixed feelings on mice, i don't want em in my house, but i don't want them to be hurt either

i couldn't figure out how the voting thing goes. all the paws were white, and i could only get them to go pink if i ...clicked the far left paw!!!

ugh..then it omes up allmost all white paws =4.5 rating.

I read that & thought you said you downloaded me.

All I could think of is that you'd found our YouTube videos. Went to bed way too late last night after spending the day cleaning/searching for Xmas stuff I put away last summer (bought on clearance sale). It's too early for me.

Ha ha. Don't worry about it. Did you at least like the pic?

Today is bath day (for the critters, not me, I take showers, although I'm sure I'll get wet). They have to be clean & sparkly white (well, whatever white fur they have has to be sparkly) for Xmas. It's been too dark this weekend to do it, they need to lie in the sun by the window to get the full spa treatment. They'll be mad at first, until I remind them that I am the keeper of the liver treats.

I entered 1 more pic for the contest under my parents' other account, but it's not up yet. It's called too cool for words & has both brats showing off.
