Thankful that the big snow storm to the south of us, missed us. They got up to 20 inches of snow.

I'm thankful that I finished a draft of my last analysis chapter yesterday; it was an insane day that left me completely mentally and physically drained, but was well worth my while. With that, finishing school sure seems a heck of a lot closer. :D

I'm also thankful for long underwear, which will make my trip to the university to drop off said chapter so much more enjoyable - I'll be able to focus on the beautiful sunshine and my accomplishment instead of a chilly bum

I am glad to hear that you and your family are doing o.k.

We have 65 KM wind gusts in the Shwa. I am thankful that we have a home that is intact. This is the time I think of those who may be living outside on the street. We are blessed.

60-90 km here in Ottawa. Really awful outside. We can't go anywhere anyway as we don't have a car because of the accident.

My uncle passed away yesterday from ALS. I am sad he is gone because he was such a wonderful person but I am thankful that he is now finally out of pain. He was in such pain the last few weeks that even the massive amounts of morphine he was getting had little effect.

RIP and hope you find the peace you deserve.

Im thankful that one of my bosses at work thought of me and called me in to work today! sure I would rather be sleeping, but its going to be nice on my pay with the extra 7 hours! I can sleep tomorrow!

Sometimes waking up in the night turns out to be a blessing, I couldn't fall back asleep so logged in here and noticed that GoJays birthday is today, so was able to start her a birthday thread in the Tea Room!
