Today I am thankful and sad about the same thing - I am thankful my Dear Daughter finished her applications for university. She is graduating this June. I am thankful she is planning on her future (she is down to 2 possible routes now, either dentistry or optometry) but at the same time, I cant believe how fast 18 years have gone. She is my first baby girl, my first princess, and here she is now at the cusp of adulthood, preparing to go out on her own at university. I am gonna miss her when she is gone, but I am so proud of her at the same time.
Sorry for the long post! The average dog

Thankful I was able to remove a splinter from the bottom of my foot. Approximately a week ago a splinter was in my foot (on the surface). Yanked it out and thought it was gone. I realized a a dark mark was still under the skin. Soaked and pinched for a few days, nothing. Today I performed surgery on my foot lol. Took a fine sewing needle, peroxide, polysporin and a band aid. What came out was larger than expected. Glad's it gone! Foot is not as painful to walk on now.
