whats that like? haven't had a good night sleep without interruption in over 5 years...

that being said I am thankful for my sleep interrupters who will be babysat today (by one of the few people I actually trust with them) so dh and I can have a date afternoon (movie at the theatre).

I did thank you. We stopped at swisschalet to eat after the movie. Then as an added bonus I noticed a 1$ offer from cart smart for a theatre receipt over 10$.

Thankful a friends procedure went so much better than last time, my prayers were answered.

Thankful for my kids who are really great at pitching in around home more often these days. DH has kinda been MIA for the last 3 months as he helps his own parents realize their dreams before his dad passes away and my kids have stepped up to the plate to fill in the stuff that daddy used to do around home-- like yesterday my 12 year old cut our grass (we have nearly an acre of the stuff) while me and the 8 year old raked up said acre of grass clippings and composted them and pulled weeds.

I am thankful I am halfway through my Game of Thrones book... it is taking me a while to read because I get to a chapter or 2 a day at work.... I have the other 4 books on my shelf (a Clash of Kings, a Storm of Swords, a Feast for Crows, and a Dance with Dragons)... At this rate, I should be done by December 2020... LOL

Thankful for Advil. lol. I must've slept funny the last two nights because I have the stiffest neck in the world. ugh. Advil is my new best friend.

Thankful that I do not have to run many errands today.

I am thankful for the rain and cooler temps last night - dipped to 17 degrees, but it was perfect for sleeping. The overnight low the other night was 24 and I had very little sleep (cannot sleep when its too hot) but I slept like a baby last night.
