What are you thankful for today?

I'm so very thankful that my friends, who are on a dangerous journey through life, fighting to be normal, feel normal, just to live, are all feeling better today. That I've had the privilege to get to know them, share in their journey and been able to be a support for them in any small way. Ladies, you know who you are, and THANK YOU for sharing your lives with me/ us.

Today is our son's 2nd birthday. We are having a small celebration tomorrow, in hopes that more people will be able to attend.

I had a bad day today, don't normally post anything of consequence on fb however today someone burnt my britches so input up a rant , obviously not something to be thankful for, however my eldest daughter ( 23 tomorrow) put up a comment that made me smile and for that I am thankful. What a beautiful , bright and insightful young lady she has become :

Today I'm thankful to just be here, in this place I call home, surrounded by friends and family. When I look back on my life, it's been a great one! I wouldn't change a thing. I've learned from all the mistakes I've made and continue to make, I've cried in both sorrow and joy, and I've met a ton of amazing people along the way. I am thankful for the sense of contentment I feel. I have made mistakes along the way, but I am glad to be here. We have events in our lives that change us forever & we must always find a way to balance them cause some of them are not going away. I'm grateful for all the people who help make me believe & feel joy each & every day.
