Yesterday, I made a hummingbird cake. It was amazing. I needed to do a trial run for a pot luck I am attending. Definitely not waistline friendly.

I'm baking this Banana Sour Cream Cake tonight. http://www.kraftcanada.com/recipes/b...am-cake-107098
I usually do from scratch but cake mix is soooo versatile. You can make any dessert with cake mix. I find adding a cup of sour cream to the batter makes such a huge difference (for the better) no matter what it is your baking.
I'll let you all know how it turns out!

I made brownies and a cheesecake last Sunday. Unfortunately, I overbaked them both a bit. They were still entirely edible....

Rhubarb Crisp & it sure did not last long. Something about baking with something that came right out of the garden nice & fresh. I used about 2 tablespoons of fresh squeezed clementine orange juice too. I also add about a half a teaspoon of cardamon. I really enjoyed it & so did dh.

We had the gang over for dinner the other night (cant remember which night it was) and someone cleared off the table. I had some bananas on the kitchen table when it was cleared off but i didnt remember them. Anyway, i started cleaning and i found those bananas Under an end table! No idea how they got there! The bananas were ready to crawl away. But instead i baked a Banana Cake and put it in the freezer. That was the other day.
Ive got so much crap in 2 freezers i can hold my own bake sale. But the Americans are coming on June 6th to our Legeon so a lot of baking will be going there for dessert.

I bought some No Name imperfect apples at Maxi the other day for 50 cents a bag so i decided to bake some apples. I used my apple corer, cut a small portion of the top of the apple off, sprinkled the apple with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar and then topped it off with a some maple syrup. Baked at 350F for 45 minutes. Delicious!!!!!!!!!!
