I made a sgeawberry cheesecake to take to a bbq tonight...a lot of work went into this dessert, but I think it’s going to be good.

oh my!!! BUMP!!!!
No one has baked anything since July?? Shameful....lol
Last night I made up 88 mini tarts. A variety of pumpkin, apple and mincemeat. The mincemeat and pumpkin mixtures were homemade, the apple I cheated with a can of pie filling BUT.....I made my own pastry shells so that counts as an extra! ha ha
Right now as I type some more yummy things are baking!!
I suppose you could call it Pumpkin Cheesecake....
I used what was leftover from the pumpkin batter and combined it with another batter of cream cheese, vanilla, Greek yogurt, sugar and 2 eggs.
Pressed crumb crusts into three 8" baking pans. ( I cheated there too by grinding up all the leftover cookies in various boxes that were in the cupboard...no graham crackers were harmed in the making of these crusts. )
Whatever does not get eaten in the next 4-5 days I will be sending home with DS and my sis.Last edited by walkonby; Sun, Dec 23rd, 2018 at 10:32 AM.

a date cake, but I poured the batter into an extra long bread loaf pan. This recipe had a topping ( a sauce ) but I didn't bother making that, it seemed to be all sugar and the dates /raisins have plenty enough in the cake as it is.

A mini apple cake. Good, but too mini - gone after 2 servings.

Both look yummers, @walkonby - especially the cake. It's been ages since I have made a checkerboard one.

ty @ Natalka ya know I never ever made one, I don't know why......my kids would have loved that when they were small. Anyhow, the lasagna is all gone ( days ago ) and the cake?? One third of it is left on the platter.... time to think of some other fun, delicious food I can make and cannot have myself....ha ha ha

are Rice Krispie treats considered baking? If so...I win! ha ha
DH requested a large batch of gooey squares from me, saying that he MUST take them into work for " the guys ".
Apparently these grown men loved the last batch I sent him in with and they were dropping hints as to whether I was making any more? ha ha Rice Krispie treats keep you young!

Hi everyone!! Been a while since ive posted anything here but the other day i made Banana Choco Chip Muffins which were gone the same day.
Also an easy Roasted Cauliflower recipe: Break head of Cauliflower into pièces, spread out on baking sheet, sprinkle with olive oïl, salt and Pepper to taste. Mix everything. Then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese to desired taste. Bake at 375 for approx. 45 minutes (longer or shorter depending on your oven).
Also made Eggplant Parmesan Lasagna. (Sliced my finger on the Mandoline while slicing the eggplant!)
