I am making kale chips a whole new way! ( new for me that is )
I followed this You Tuber's recipe.....
I did not brush as much of the mixture onto the leaves though, just a scant swipe all along each leaf because of the hot spices that are in it. Hope they turn out good. It'll probably take 6 hours to dry out the 7 trays I filled.

Today I was preparing a streusel. I want to cook a traditional German treat. This is a very tasty pastry, something like a muffin, only a yeast pastry. Today I added candied fruits to the dough, it turned out interesting. I also want to try it with chocolate. Still, if you want to cook something new for Christmas, you need to try the recipes in advance.

This recipe for Mars Bars Rice Krispies i received from someone i met a couple of years ago and she brought it for me to try. It is very chocolatey and the grandkids loved it when i made it last Christmas. Hope you like it also.
MARS BARS RICE KRISPIES
4 Mars Bars
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
3 1/2 cups rice kriskpies
Melt Mars Bars and butter for 1 1/2 minutes in the microwave. Add cereal and mix together. Pat down in 8 x 8 inch or 9 x 9 inch pan (i used a 9 x 13 inch pan). Melt 1 bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips in microwave and spread on top of cereal mixture. Chill until set and cut into small bite-size squares.
