It's 10 here this morning, driving DH to Timberwolf for a round of golf with his buddies; I imagine those events will be grinding to a halt soon, too. Everything fun is ending......

BUT! Today is baking French loaves day, one for dinner this evening with my late BFF's hubby/Jenny's babysitter, and one to freeze for Saturday's Thanksgiving dininer (appy tray).

Ugh. Just got a call from the hospital to go for my pre-op on Friday morning...3 hours?! That's cabbage-roll day, so now we'll be delayed doing those....first world problems...

Hey @cabmonk I was just going to say how large is your freezer?? ( with all that M & M stuff ) but then I see you remove the outer packaging to squeeze everything in. A large order can make sense when you have no vehicle...just the one trip and then done. Enjoy!!
DS got a dreadful shift change, probably the worst one ever, but he is dealing with it. ( grateful to still be employed ) It began last night, he's still not home. sigh......
Well have a lovely day all. I may get my pretty Fall tablecloth out of the closet to freshen it up for Turkey dinner day! I so wish I could place it on the dining table early to make the room brighter but cannot trust those cats who leap on and investigate everything.

Well,you seem to be in my dreams! I was having a dream about a young boy being caught out in the SNOW! And then the HOSPITAL called, woke me up- about DH's appointment for his CT scan which has been changed to FRIDAY!

I guess we're all cosmicly connected! Next thing you know, I will be dreaming that I am sitting in a beanbag watching the Blue Jays!

DH and the puppy are out for their morning constitutional.

Lynn, do you think you can mail me down some of those goodies? My mouth is watering!

@walkonby yeah it usually all fits in. I sometimes will also cut the cooking instructions off the box and keep that. After I still have a bit in my budget if I need few things like ketchup, fresh produce etc. Those times I can walk the 15 mins to the store and only have a few things to carry home.

City of timmins spending 3.5 million next year for an 8 day international fireworks competition and music festival. Firework competitors from USA, Finland, China, Japan etc. Plus big headliner acts. They said they have budgeted $100,000 for main headliner, and they agreed to do it for 1/2 their Normal fee. However if ticket sales go well they get their whole fee. They said the budget overall for music headliners is $750,000..

I am so excited, and nervous about the game tonight.
I'm sitting in the 6th row, so will be really close to the action, and all the celebration when / if we win.
I'm not leaving for the GO train till almost 5 p.m., but I'm ready & just killing time. I can't seem to focus on anything else.

Anyway here is the budget for the big music festival next year. Some people are upset because they think city is wasting money.
