We just got back from an adventure in the park. There were 7 dogs running around and playing, when 3 coyotes appeared. That broke up play time pretty quickly, and home we came.

Ok, I've got to get a move on. Lots to do, and a Christmas party tonight.

Hello!!

Recovering today from having the kids over....it doesn't take much to tire me out lately and I hopped into bed as soon as they left, around 10pm. It was wonderful having them over...they're such great company.
@22hicks, you have a wonderful time at the party this evening!!! 'Tis the season!!

For anyone who has to venture out this weekend, oh, be careful, there are so many impatient people/drivers out there! The other day our DD was in GT getting a bottle of water, and poked around a little...and when she was heading to the cash, a woman with a full cart barreled in front of her to get in line ahead of her!!! AND, she had coupons!! Good thing our DD has more patience than I do, and just thought, "Karma's going to bite her in the a$$ soon enough.". Can you imagine?!! I'm pretty sure I'd have said something, put my water down, and walked out. GAH!!

Got my schedule at work for the next few weeks. Worked today so off next sat. So that means I should work christmas eve day. However looking at schedule I'm off dec 23,24,25 and 26. I work just 3 hours the day of new years eve lol 9am to noon, stores only open those 3 hours.

Good morning everyone. We were supposed to go to DD to watch them decorate the tree but got a call she and my 2 GS are really sick with the flu. Plan B, Relax.

Oh, gosh, @dededi ...I hope it's not the flu our GS had last week....and when I say a "week", that's exactly how long it lasted...I hope they all get well soon. Our DD and her family put their tree up yesterday; apparently, with all the new ornaments she bought, there isn't a free branch anywhere! I can't wait to see it...all gold and white on a green tree.
Our GS loves the tinsel we put on ours (I'm a traditionalist from waaay back ) and asked if they could put it on their tree, lol, but our DD remembers me pulling tinsel out of her cat's butt when she was a teenager...hahaha. NOT something she's likely to do there!!

DH is babysitting our GS while our DD and SIL do their Christmas shopping, as well as mine for my Hubby. So today it's the Christmas carol tv channel and wrapping presents!

Well I SURE could have saved myself a TON of time!!!

I was trying to figure out how to reverse test in both WP and Word for far too long, until I came to a site that said, "Hey, dummy! Check to see if your PRINTER can do that!" (not those exact words, but I felt that was directed at me)
Yep. Our printer, with one click, prints in reverse!!

So now I have my Leslie Rilies TAP Transfer Paper, my text for our DD, and all I have to do now is buy a nice t-shirt to print it on!!! Who needs to spend over $30 for a t-shirt with that saying on it anyway!! Phhhht!!! Not ME!!

Everything except the big gift to the kids is wrapped, I'm enjoying an entire glass of ice with some Cointreau in it and relaxing. DH is still babysitting our GS, the kids are finishing up their (and my) shopping, and so far, thank God, all's well in the world.

Just got back from walking Jake. He liked playing in the snow, me, not so much.
I hope it doesn't last all night, but they say it will.
