@walkonby thanks, I used brushes and my hands lol to paint it first kinda blending 4 colours together. Then I did the stuff on top with 3 other colours and it is signed now. No I won't frame it, I think like that on canvas is good.

@22hicks Sorry you can't sleep hope everything is just temporary. Have a good day.

Well good morning all you brave souls!! I'm so sorry for all the snow you're having! We got some, enough that DH is out with his snowblower, but most of the dump was just south of us along the eastern shore of the great lakes, Parry Sound/Barrie area; we often squeak by those big storms. It's still cold, though, -8, feels like -14. I imagine, compared to other areas of the country that's not bad and pretty good shopping weather this time of year. The stores and mall must be packed today!
We're having our SIL and GS over for dinner since our DD is still in the Sault with her BFF. (gosh, I feel so "with it" typing all those acronyms...lol!) The roast is in the crockpot, so just the 'sides' to do later.
We've all sure had our share of sad news the past few weeks, haven't we? I hope and pray that's the end of it, and that from this day on, only healing and good news is in store for us.
Have a SAFE, lovely day, everyone!

My front walkway and driveway are done and I tell you it was a challenge! I did it in 4 turns, resting inside the vehicle until I could catch my breath and begin once again. The kid around here ( who is a lifesaver when you need your place cleared ) was literally standing there watching me and asked " ya want me to finish it? "
Well normally I would but the miser in me did not want to part with a crisp $10.00 bill when I knew there was not that much remaining.
I felt weird though, like as if he was waiting for me to keel over or something?? ha ha hey kid, I am not THAT old!
If it just would not snow anymore tonight that would be wonderful.
I am diving in to making 2 different cookies shortly. One is a peanut butter/oatmeal/almond/raisin and the other ( DD requested ) a Skor Bits Shortbread. Earlier this morning I made the pastry and lined the adorable wee pie tins for the individual chicken pot pies I'll be serving as one of the courses on Xmas day.
They are triple wrapped ( air tight ) and in the freezer. I'll thaw just before filling and baking.
The filling will probably be made up on Xmas Eve and refrigerated. Pies assembled and baked up fresh on Xmas Day.

bwahaha!!! I love you too!!!!!
OMG! I should NOT tell you how amazing the Skor Shortbread turned out then?? They are still warm and I've put 2 into a container for DH to bring with him when he picks DD up from work, since these were the cookie she requested, even bought the bags of Skor chips.

Hi @Newfiescreech !
SO happy you're home safe and sound and as busy as can be before Christmas...get some rest somewhere in the next week, so many are coming down with colds, flu...wouldn't want you to get run down. Stay safe out there, Sweetie!

Hey, @cabmonk !!! Have you seen this??
The OLDEST water in the world near TIMMINS!!
In 2013, the research team, led University of Toronto scientists, previously found water that was a billion years years old, at a depth of 2.4 km at a mine in Timmins, Ont. Now, new findings from even deeper in the mine have turned up water that's two billion years old.
