Coyote00. I hear you... my kids change a minimum of 3 times per day. On average it's 4 times, and yes I do all the washing. I don't even want to know how many loads of laundry I do per week, hence why EVERYDAY for me IS laundry day. Hang in there love, we only have to do it for 20 or so years .

I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday so far. I have been trying to wait out my DS and DD (18 an 19) with their dirty laundry. I swear they change at least 2 times a day not to mention new towels for each every day. I certainly think that they are old enough to be doing some of their own washing. I have sadly discovered that they will wash one outfit at a time as required. Hubby looked and me last night an said "..not to be rude BUT are you ever going to do the laundry....".

So now I have two kids that complain about no clean clothes and a hubby who is not backing me up. Sooooo, after 1 week, I have thrown my hands in the air an have now started on mounds of laundry.

Ok, rant over LOL. That is a small problem in comparison to others problems . Pity parties for one are never healthy

Hi guys!!!! Soooo... I got to go to the Women's Show yesterday- it was AWESOME!!! The only thing that sucked is that there were a million people and it was hard to get to a lot of booths. Other than that we had a great time

Cheesecake is in the oven - but I'm not sure it's going to be wonderful, though I probably shouldn't judge yet til it's finished baking then chilled. Shouldn't have tried a new recipe - today is my husband's birthday, and he loves all types of cheesecake. Mind you, I haven't made a failed one yet, so my fingers are crossed. The filling tasted great, and it's got a sweetened sour cream topping which gets baked on later.

Thanks, he is feeling much better... it only lasted that one day!

I do laundry every day too, it's never ending! It didn't help that I had sick kid laundry to do on top of the regular laundry!

My mom had both my sister and I doing our own laundry by 15. I also had a job by 15. We were expected to be somewhat independant. I'm guessing it's because both my parents were very independant at a young age (had my sister and got married at 16&18).

When I met DH (at 20) he barely knew how to do laundry. I've pretty much did his laundry since we met.

I leave my machine set to my usual wash level and all the kids have to do is throw in thier laundry, add detergent and push the on-button after closing the door. If you can get an 8 yo to do that, then an 18 or 19 yo should be more than capable of the task.

Well, the cheesecake turned out fabulously - it's very yummy! We just had supper together here at home, and had the cheesecake later in the evening.

In late morning, my husband's youngest sister called from Serbia - it was too bad he wasn't at home, so it was an interesting conversation I had with her - I can't speak their language, but thank goodness her English was good enough for us to have a short talk.

Husband is off work today, so it's going to be nice to have him home another day!
