What a day!

Car is cleaned, vacuumed, windex'd and is now in the driveway airing out.

Grocery shopping done - only needed eggs really. Went to check all the items for DS's birthday cake and I didn't have eggs. Doh! Making it tonight since I won't have time tomorrow.

DH flies in early tomorrow morning and I cannot wait! We have a full day for little man's 2nd birthday!

Art and bath time up next. Hopefully that takes up a big part of the afternoon. lol. Then BBQ'ing chicken for dinner.

busy day here too, the front lawn is weeded, new tree planted, hubby is working on yet another project out there. ive done all the dishes, i think i washed every one i had, the kitchen is spotless, now just taking a break, next is the living room again, and tidying around other rooms, changing the sheets. SO loving this weather.

so gorgeous here today too. we've been outside since 8:30 this morning. the girls are exhausted. put up our gazeebo, cleaned the bBQ, put about 5 loads of laundry on the clothes line. the people behind our house are swimming! the kids were yelling how cold it was but decided to jump in anway. too chilly for me!

i made a lasagna this afternoon so that's in the oven now, gonna go and make a big garden salad and some french bread. hope everyone has a nice sunday evening

ha went outside to give hubby a drink of ice water, 3 hours later. tsk.. now i have my front porch cleaned off, a table and chairs out now to enjoy the sun, a frame for an inset garden put in. (hubby not me ) and the back deck cleaned off and hamburgers on the barbie, the patio set out. YAY. last year this didn't happen until near the end of June. this is SO awesome. im so excited for more of this weather.

Mmmm...lovely bbq at the kids' home with the other inlaws this evening, and of course, our grandson...what a LOVELY way to spend the day! DD, SIL, DH and the other Dad went golfing, and apparently it was such fun...they're all trying to beat my hubby..lol...I hope everyone had just as beautiful a day!!!

Good morning all... sounds like everyone enjoyed the beautiful weekend! My plans went completely out the window Time for my yearly bout of strep throat, yay Thank god for antibiotics, tylenol 3's, and parents who will babysit! I'm actually starting to feel a little better this morning!

Aw, sheets, strep is awful, I know - sure hope it clears up quickly for you!

Thanks Natalka I went to emergency yesterday because I just couldn't handle it anymore and I couldn't wait another day. The ER Dr. was wonderful! She gave me a one time steroid to reduce the swelling, plus the other meds.

DH just called and he's in Toronto. Yay!

Getting the kids ready and going to head out in a bit to pick him up at the local airport. Hope his flight is on time.

Mornin', all!
Another glorious day in paradise here....I can't believe the sunny, warm days we've been having...but I'll take 'em!!
Not sure what to do today....probably take Jenny for a walk this morning then do some tidying up ... I just can't seem to keep our dressing-room (3rd b'room) neat! Or the top of my dresser! A few months ago I thought I had tossed out everything, every make-up item I didn't need, yet I realize I'm only using a few of the ones I kept! Another purge is in order...sigh...

I hope everyone stays safe today, and has a sun-shiny day, too!!!
