We've had so many strollers over the years and I've gotten rid of all of them because at 3 & 6 my kids don't need them. Now we have an upcoming trip to Disney and I know it's too much walking for little legs so we NEED a stroller.

I went and got rid of all ours (we had a double, a sit n' stand, a single and then an older clunky sit n' stand) for fairly cheap on kijiji and now I can't find a decently priced stroller for our trip.

Don't want to spend a lot as it'll only be used for the 1 week and then it'll sit in storage like the rest did. All kijiji has (and has had for the past 1-2 months) are $150+ stroller. For that price I can just buy one when I get there and it'll be BRAND NEW!

I would just rent one when you get there, they are available at all the parks, I think it is pretty reasonable and saves you the hassle of buying a new one and lugging it around the airport.

i agree in the end just rent one there... because between the cost of buying it, checking it there and back (you gotta pay for everything checked now!) it's' not worth the hassle for something you might not even need.. i also hear the strollers they do rent are pretty amazing strollers (most people who i've heard renting one wish they could buy it and bring it home)

The parks rent double strollers for $31 US a day. We'd need 3 days ($92 US). Plus then we wouldn't have it for other days (shopping, going through airports). Plus the wait at the park to rent one... We'll be booking it to the back of the park to see Elsa and Anna. lol

I did research renting one via an outside company but again the cost is the same as if I just ordered one through WM.com (although admittedly not the same quality) and had it delivered to store for pick up. I'm leaning toward this option if I can't find a decent used one before we leave. That way I can possibly sell it when we get home to recoup some money.

We absolutely need a stroller. I can barely walk the parks without being exhausted. lol. And of course little legs cannot keep up or could risk getting lost in the crowd (my 6 year old is 41 inches tall and weighs 40lbs - pretty much the same as our 3 year old). Plus of course the added bonus of having something to hold bags and drinks etc.

I just wish I kept ONE stroller just in case. lol. We rarely used them and they just collected dust but the moment you sell it is the moment you need it. lol

lol. Yes she is. There is less than 2 inches between my 6 year old (just turned) and my 3 year old (almost 4).

I can't tell you how many times I've been asked if they are twins. lol. Nope she's just tiny. hahahaha. She's one of the oldest in her class and is the smallest. lol

Strollers in Disney are so necessary! You are very smart for getting one! We went in May and my little sister (11) who is a very active little human and she was in tears she was so exhausted by the end of the day. At one point we were passing her around from person to person to be carried on our shoulders because she is too old for a stroller. I could imagine not having a stroller in Disney with kids those ages! It sucks you got rid of them, good luck finding one!

I wish people in the Target threads would stop saying that Walmart will now have a monopoly. Walmart has never had a monopoly for the last 20 years in Canada, but now suddenly people keep saying this. This isn't Cuba where we have to buy everything from a government store. Shop where you want. It's sad when another competitor disappears, but Walmart isn't a monopoly in Canada and never has been.

Was getting ready to take DD to school, so went to the washroom...and the toilet was leaking! Had to wait 3 hours for a plumber, but he fixed it in minutes (all he had to do was change the hose). And he looked at my leaking shower (which has been leaking since we moved in) and the only way to fix that is to remove the whole wall...
Well, oh well to that. o.o
