Damn rbc house insurance that is completely worthless!!!
Found out we had dryer venting issues when water started dripping though a door jam. Also found a second water mark stain near our attic hatch....find out the dryer is venting in to the attic, all the moisture is going down the insulation of the pipe and then soaking the blow-in insulation, and leaking through the ceiling. But that's not all.....this has been going on for some time now and I have mold all over the roof.
Rbc won't cover the water damage, or any remediation from said water damage because they don't cover poor workmanship. What!? I thought this is why I pay them thousands of dollars is to cover accidental damage to our home. Looking at $3000+ to fix this. GET BENT RBC!!!

I made a special trip to REXALL to take advantage of their sale on vitamins. I couldn't find what I was looking for, and there were no associates anywhere to ask for help. When I went through the cash, I mentioned (nicely) to the cashier that I couldn't find this supplement. The Cashier had a rather unpleasant, rushed attitude, and told me they didn't carry it, and that I would probably find it in a Health Food Store. On my way out of the store I happened to see the product on the shelves in an odd area, so it turns out that they did have it in stock. I filled out an on-line questionnaire (from the receipt - "Tell us how we did today") about the experience and someone called me back. He wasn't very nice either, and said (on my answering service) that they didn't carry it. I found his attitude defensive, aggressive and condescending. You know, I usually get along with most people, and like to, "forgive & forget," but this experience has left me feeling disrespected and trivialized. Honestly....I'm not going to shop at Rexall again. Rexall, in Carlingwood Mall, in Ottawa....you certainly failed today.

Target is selling expired food. I bought some teriyaki pork jerkey and when I opened it it smelled off and tasted disgusting. The sell by date was January 15 2015. Over a month old and since target is final sale I can't even return IT. Watch out for expiry dates on food there. It's partially my fault for not checking on a final sale however selling food over a month after expiry is still unacceptable.

About two weeks ago, I was in Atl. Superstore and wanting to buy PC Honey Dijon salad dressing. It was a month expired. We moved all the bottles off the shelf and onto the floor. Someone was on the ball after that cause they weren't put back on the shelf. New ones appeared a few days later.

I've had a sinus infection for a week now and I'm sick and tired of it! My left ear is swollen shut, the right opens then swells shut again.. my face feels like it's been hit by bricks and I'm coughing so incredibly hard my asthma has been going insane. I haven't slept in a week because I'm either coughing, or unable to breathe. I saw a doc at a walk in clinic yesterday who gave me some antibiotics.. they can't start working soon enough! I've been sick before, but never had a sinus infection and good god I never want to have one again! I have a new found respect for what my mother goes through as she gets them constantly. I just really want to feel better.. even a little bit!

Just need to vent my sadness.
We were on holidays last week and our 9 year old cat "kitty" died. My mom was house sitting and visited 2 times during the week to feed and water the cat but on the 3rd day, Friday, found him laying on the basement stairs. Oddly laying vertically across 3 steps with his head facing downward.
He showed no signs of being sick and we are shocked. There were 2 vomit spots (one with food and the other was just brown) upstairs on the carpet and in the basement, there were at least 5 spots I could see that were clear foamy vomit. Makes me think it happened very suddenly.
There was nothing out of the ordinary that he could have gotten into that we can see.
I'm sad that we weren't there and that he was alone. But how were we to know. I just hope he didn't suffer too much.
He was a beautiful long haired grey cat with green eyes and he was attached to my hip. When I sit and watch TV, he is in his spot right beside me. If I didn't leave enough room he would wiggle in anyways. If I excercise in the basement, he would wait at the top of the stairs watching me. When I shower, he would wait outside in the hall. When it was time for bed and I turn the TV and lights off, he was already at the foot of the bed waiting for me.
Last night was lonely and I was really missing him beside me. The house is so quiet.

Oh web3 I am so sorry for your lost! I know it is hard to lose a pet, they are one of the family. I know this maybe hard to think, but, right now he is in a better place and is at peace. I know you feel bad b/c you were not there, but, I am sure he knew he was loved. Sending my prayers, thoughts and love to you and your family during this difficult time.
