Does anyone else hate giving gifts like I do? Last night DH opened his gifts ( we do Yule eve instead of morning) and what a bloody disaster! He bit#%ed about each one and actually threw a couple at me. I was in tears and now am in a really foul mood today. So this morning he goes out to plow the yard and managed to hit the front gate AND 2 out of the 3 cedar pots I had lining the driveway with the tractor. ARRGGGG!!!

Save yourself, wolfwoman. You know you are a worthy person and have been saving the homestead. So he's sick and out of sorts and attempts to assault you? Then damages your stuff-that's anger? Call the fuzz. Time he's on his own.

He went out, didn't take his cane because he was only going a block (no sidewalks, big hill).

He was late back but I didn't worry...but he had fallen in the street on the ice and couldn't get up. Unbelievable a few cars passed his laid-out body but the neighbours found him and brought him home.

He's bruised and I think he has broken his arm, but he refuses to go to the doctor/hospital.

I made him a sling out of an old bedsheet...what else can I do?

And I lost my helper for my xmas dinner...now I only have a manager!

If there is an urgent care centre in your area, he may wish to see if he's got a fracture because that will be 6 weeks of cast time. From what you wrote, you could have been discussing my father (same mindset, never his fault etc.)

Great job on sling-give yourself me time if he's making you dance attendance as on-call nurse. He made the choice to walk outside, just as Dad did in wearing plastic footwear on a foggy and cold fall morning. Both men went down like Humpty Dumpty and needed someone else to help them up.

Did anyone else see that the Driscoll panel has new rules in 2017 and you can only do 2 surveys a day! I am only going to buy berries if they are on sale so that sucks I buy a lot at a time and freeze most of them!

yup! I just read the email today. For the most part it should NOT effect me much. I can print 4 coupons from 2 surveys, we don't need more than 4 trays in one day, so hopefully I remember to go back each day to do 2 more to have coupons at the ready for any sales out there?

Saw this too... May hurt me in the end because when they go on sale for $1, I normally get a lot (Think the most in one day was 30), so it would take me over a week to get all the coupons I need for the same shop and I may not be able to... We'll have to wait and see, there were only a few sales for free berries this year, the year before, berries seemed to be on sale for $1 every week at one store or another

Thanks for the thoughts!! But he apologized and has realized that he has been an a$$ for awhile so all is good here.
