Not being able to PM at superstore because 'I let go'...this cashier HATES PM [ie. talk back] and takes things waaaaay TOO personally! On positive side, saved money at least temporary!
Now will have to go to Coop! On my way there anyway!

Spotted juice for $0.99 cents the other day but couldn't pick it up then, and honestly wasn't that interested because really, it's what I call "sugar water" but the kids like it and summer is a comin' which means the grocery bill is going up again.
Then I got coupons for that product in record time (just two days from BC to ON!) from a trade yesterday and I remembered the juice is currently on sale. So now of course, that sugar water sure was looking good. Free always looks good. So I walk back to the store today - a twenty minute walk which felt like I was walking uphill. on a treadmill. in a sauna. (Gee, thanks humidity! I love what you've done to the place, it's like a tropical rain-forest out here. NOT!)
Anyway, I was prepared. I had my game face on, albeit a sweaty game face by then lol... but I was ready and excited to get a cart full of free juice.
But just like those impostor tear pads, it was not meant to be. All sold out! No juice for me! Not even for 99 cents.
So I'm back to drinking my water with a slice of spite. Okay, so maybe not too much spite. I did get two tubes of Colgate Optic White for $3.00 bucks (good price). So when I get over it and am ready to smile again, my teeth will be brighter.
Oh who am I kidding?! I'm always ready to smile.Get your F-R-E-E gift cards just by browsing online with Swagbucks. Click here to register now!

Freaking telemarketers! Usually once they get a hang up ( man I miss being able to slam the receiver down) ,they leave you alone. But nooo! Not these idiots! 4 freaking times they called me. On the 5th time I blew my stack and told the woman " Sure I'll book an in home appointment so I could kick her A$$ in person" Haven't heard from her again

So annoying. The last telemarketer call I received, I sat the phone down next to the TV's speaker. It was playing Dexter. "Tonight's the night...." My only regret is that it wasn't playing Silence of the Lambs. "It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again."
*Shudder*
I know it's not their fault and times are tough all around but I would rather do grunt work and manual labour than have to call people for a living.Get your F-R-E-E gift cards just by browsing online with Swagbucks. Click here to register now!

My hate-love relationship with wal mart....everything I want is not always in store but online like aspirator....I will have to get pre paid card since I dont have a credit card....the good rollback or clearance are most online I found.

Me too. I haven't had much luck with finding clearance items in-store at Walmart, in Oshawa or Courtice stores yet but am keeping my fingers crossed for a good deal to come my way. That Purex for $1.00 or even free on clearance for instance, what a steal! I would have loved that one.
My Walmarts (3 in my area) all suck for tear-pads as well or I'm just going at the wrong times?
I also wish the web-site, you could see results for only what is actually in-stock on clearance or roll-back at your local stores instead of showing things that are out of stock. It'd save a lot of time, even with using "Ctrl F" to browse.Get your F-R-E-E gift cards just by browsing online with Swagbucks. Click here to register now!

Some idiot at work told me her friend is qualified to manage me. She's gotta be kidding. Her friend doesn't even hold a degree in my field and has no clue when it comes to doing what I do. Who does she think she is? Honey, if you want to climb, walk the walk, don't talk the talk. It's the upper management who decide which person would manage me. I'm comfortable with my current manager. Period.

Yesterday, while shopping in Ottawa, a guy pulled out from a couple of cars behind me and, going excessively fast, determinedly cut me off. I didn't know what his problem was, and was glad to see him drive away. He then slowed-down, in the right lane, and waited for me to pass him as I was driving in the left lane. As I was about a third of the way past his car, he swerves into my lane; he really seemed to want to hit me. I managed to avoid being hit, but he then "ed the bird" at me and yelled in a really nasty, bully way, "Go Home, F*ckin* Frenchie!" I could not believe how awful and scared that that made me feel. First off, I am not French, but I do have Quebec plates. I have many friends and family who are French, and they are wonderful people and I am happy to associate with them. Secondly, my Irish/English family settled in Ottawa and Cornwall in the early 1800's.....um....I was home. Thirdly...Mr. Grumpy 80-year-old terrible driver....you could have killed me and my passenger and my dog and who knows how many drivers might have been caught in the cross-traffic. This makes you the terrorist, Mr.Grumpy-Bigot; not others who are different to you. Sheesh! Man, this really un-nerved me. It is no fun being discriminated against; no fun at all. (I just thank the good Lord that he wasn't carrying a gun.)

does it help to claim the dental costs at income tax time at least? I have no idea how much a person would have to spend in a year to get any benefits back but hopefully anything would be better than claiming nothing. Oh and that jerk that was so unbelievably vocal about his hatred towards French people?? You mentioned he looked older, wow! that is so so sad. Glad he did not hit your vehicle.

I just don't understand all the hatred and nastiness that seems to be everywhere these days.
I was looking through the web which began at YouTube and ended up on a site called Gossip Guru. Seriously, it was like an adult mean girls club.
And all the fear mongering that is happening about everything in general. Especially on social media. You have to be VERY careful of what words you use and voicing opinions. Heaven help you if you voice an opinion that is deemed unacceptable by the masses. Because someone will take offence and then you are a bad person. Society seems to be turning into a public police state. I maybe not expressing myself very well about this but hopefully I will get my point across.Just call me Wolfie
