I went to to tims once and asked for a medium coffee in a large cup and they refused. I said ok can I please get a large but only fill it as much as a medium coffee they said ok and charged me for a large. The filled the thing up to the top, I was quite angry because I told them the reason was because I wanted to put it in the stroller cupholder and it would spill if it was filled. I had to struggle to push the stroller while I held the hot coffee which kept spilling on my hand because if I put it in the cupholder it would have spilt on ds2 who was sitting in the stroller at the time. I usually buy cold coffees for myself but bought my mom a coffee to surprise her because she babysat for free a couple days before. If I knew they were going to fill it anyway I would have just bought the medium and my mom wouldn't have had to throw out the extra coffee that was leftover.

you should bring your own thermos, and ask for a medium, problem solved..

I actually already have a collection of cold drink tumblers since I drink cold coffee all year... But I don't think it's worth investing in a thermos since I would never use it as I said it was a rare purchase for my mom.

School guidance counsellors. Son having problems with math so went to try and get help. Was told to drop a course he is passing, in order to give more time to the class he is having difficulty in. It's more the instructor than the material so he wants to take it online as he needs it for second semester. Counsellor drops the math but doesn't let him know how to go about signing up for the right class online, tells him to talk to another instructor who doesn't seem to be answering emails for over a week.

My parents ( who are in their 70's) were in a car accident last night when a 17 year old girl drove into them because she was texting. They are ok but shook up and their car had to be towed on a flatbed truck. When will people ever learn?????

^ Oh, wolfie, I'm glad they are okay - but they will need to watch themselves over the next few days to see if any aches/pains show up.

wouldn't it have been easier to pour about an inch of coffee out before you left the store?

Yes, my husband was shopping - but this is twice in two days!
The other day, 1.50 coupon at Co-op. Today, an FPC for Jergens lotion (2.99) at London Drugs. ARGH!

Sitting in class and a few 'punk' kids keep throwing big pieces of paper shaped into a V, so a few hit me, and I finally had enough... I was the bold 'student' (probably the oldest), who tattled to the teacher. Dreading going to class with them. My inner mama bear wants to come out and lecture the sh$t otta them, but not my problem. <--lord give me strength to get threw this adult ed, and right into nursing school.

I have an infection, none of the treatments are working I have tried 3 different treatments and we are on at least week 6 now. Went to the doc for another reason last night but well I was there told him the treatments aren't working and in all honestly it is getting unbearable. The infection is driving me insane and has now spread, I am so worn down from trying to fight the infection I have zero energy or ambition and I just basically always feel like crap.

Doc says nothing can be done just keep doing treatment after treatment back to back and hopefully it will clear up but for now I need to suffer through.

Not only am I annoyed due to the reasons above but these treatments are not covered so everyone is money out of my pocket which honestly if they were working fine but now I feel like I am just wasting money as I am getting zero relief and the $$$ spent just keep adding up.

Glad to hear your parents are safe and sound. People will not learn until it happens to them and sometimes not even then.
