Good deals at Shoppers this morning. I now find myself taking a slow walk around the food area on alert for the managers stickers and today did not disappoint.
1 X Ready Crisp bacon 4.99- $4.50 in managers coupons= .49! Short dated but perfect for making frozen breakfast burritos tomorrow for my DH. It had an expired Maple Leaf peelie book on it, darn. I will return tomorrow for the egg sale! They had a few more packs of the bacon with only $4 in managers coupons still left. Also saw whole wheat Wonder bread priced at $2.29 with - $1 managers coupons.
1 X Pampers wipes 2.99- $3 printed coupon + VIB 2000 Optimum points coupon

Yard sales have sucked lately so I haven't gotten much. Today I had a few good deals, though:
- 4 plain Pyrex glass pie dishes - $2. I wanted some to give away pie in this year and 50c each is pretty good Can't buy a gift bag for that!
- Arcosteel bowl with handle and pour spout. Free! It used to have a base to sit on, the bottom is totally round but that got lost so they put it in the free box! It'll work perfectly as a double boiler for me.
- Wood wine bottle box with a clasp closure on the front. It says "Chardonnay" on the top but I'm going to paint over it, take out the handle they have in it and tie a pretty red bow in the holes and fill it with cookies for a gift. Free!
- 5 strings of pure white LED c9s, 1 string of retrofit multicolor LED c9s, an extension cord, light clips and a bunch of strings of mini light icicles plus a rubbermaid container - $2!
- Bunch of energy efficient lightbulbs from costco for $2, probably $100+ worth of lightbulbs there, as they go for $30+ per package.
- A large Yankee Candle in the scent Coconut Pudding. Retails for $30, paid $1! It smells GREAT.

Finally starting on the process of ditching my mobile phone carrier to save some money!!
My current provider is Virgin Mobile with a plan that has been grandfathered I think over three phones by now, it was...
$39/ Month ($44.07/Month W/ Tax)
- 300 Canada Minutes
- 300 MB Data
- Unlimited International Text
- Unlimited Mins after 5pm and to 'mypeeps'
- Calling Features
Moving to Public Mobile that's now on the Telus network...
$90/ 90 days - $6 Autopay credit = $84/ 90 days ($94.92/ 90 days W/Tax)
- Unlimited Province Mins
- 1 GB Data for 90 days (333MB/ month)
- Unlimited Canada Text
- Calling Features
It works out to be ONLY $31.64/month, and I am trying the service out for my family,
so once they join, I'll be getting the Refer-A-Friend discount from them joining...
$90/ 90 days - $6 Autopay credit - $12 Refer-A-Friend (4 people @ $1/person/month) =
$72/ 90 days ($81.36/ 90 days W/Tax) = $27.12/month
And within only one year of being with them, I'll start to ALSO get Loyalty discount of
$3/ 90 days too!!!! and another $3/ 90 days for each year after that
