Angela, a few other things to try:
Make a paste of baking soda and water and spread over the interior of the container. Let sit for a day or two before washing.
Crumple up newspaper pages and fill the container, put the lid on and leave for a few days.
Put outside in the sun.

Another option is fill with vinegar! It absorbs smells. I find it works better than baking soda. Solids and sleeping way to go twin mama...mine has another cold, I hope to start both of those endeavours after it passes and checking in with the Dr. for her 6 month next week.

Sleeping is still pretty hit or miss. Our baby boy tends to run into his crib railing or stick his arm through which results in him waking up. Today was their first solids. Baby boy had a few bites that he tried, but didn't swallow too much of. Baby girl tried to spit hers out and showed me her gag reflex. Hopefully your little one gets over this cold quickly.

Got a call from PC financial this evening about mortgage rates, anyways I told them I was quite upset about the last time I spoke with someone re a loc and they told me to call Equifax & TransUnion right away. I told him I didn't want to waste their time and not to waste mine, told them I would not entertain 2.65% on 4 year fixed rate so we'll see. I also told them I was not going to pay current bank any penalties they said they would get back to me in 3 business days with a reply and what they are offering. Also they want me to get a loc with them and again I told him re what the lady said and got me all freaked out....as they say time will tell.

I entered a draw last week by doing a quiz, won the torque scarf and travel mug with the logo on.
This week I entered a draw on a pay it forward group for a live theater shown extra week in town. I just received notice I won 2 tickets...so I asked my friend who kept dragon for me the last couple days.
On that note. we are in yellowknife to get the pins removed from bfs ankle . he's got another 2 weeks on crutches and can go back to work part time the last week of February. His ex kept our boys and scootrer (ourmale dog) ...get was theirs before the broke up . she won't keep dragon (my female dog) so I asked a friend to keep her a couple days for this. I picked up a couple cute baking sheets - trees and snowman cakes. And some silicon heart molds for my friend as a thank you gift. All clearances for $1 each.

Good Morning Everyone,
I could do a happy dance at the fact it is Friday, although this week has felt short, I really did not want to get up today but maybe that had more to do with the weather.
I started a new thread about Loblaws banner stores and mark down. In the past few weeks I have been in 3 different stores (1 RCSS, 1 No Frills, 1 Zerhs) and noticed some stores seem to be going back to the 50% mark down. If interested new thread can be found here http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/413130-...a/#post6552464
Better get back to work, I finally feel like I am making progress and I could not be happier to finally have some of these projects leave my desk. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning, everyone.
Yesterday turned into a play-with-brats-&-ignore-unimportant-things day.Chores can wait, happy memories cannot.
This morning, after Lily dog took me for a wander, Quincy cat decided to do the same. We ran into a neighbour in the hallway, who invited us in. The silly roommate of mine went exploring & got stuck behind the washing machine (he didn't actually get stuck, he just wanted attention, cause we were ignoring him). After what felt like dislocating various body parts trying to squish back there to help him, he sauntered out the other side & meowed at me to pick him up. Sheesh.
Off to run the errand I didn't run yesterday, but not until Lily dog & I have had a round of tug. Priorities, ya know.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Early morning for us. ..up at 5 with a quick jaunt to McDonald's from the hotel and at the airport by 6 to wait for our flight home.
Bf says the staples are annoying but hes not as sore as last night.
I was pretty peeved with no frills pharmacy here...we had hus prescription faxed to them with a note to fill it without insurance approval as we will file by paper claim. I waited 2 hours walked from the hotel over only to have the jerk tell me they didnt fill it because theres no insurance on file. And that he had to pick it up himself. ...i told the guy he just had surgery and was on crutches....did he seriously expect an injured man to hoof it over from the hotel???
Bf ended up calling there and requesting delivery service (advertised as available )only to be told it wasn't as they couldbt find a new courier as the current one had been "loosing" prescriptions. They finally agreed i could take the darn thing.
Previously for the same stuff same place we had no issue with me being allowed to pick up for him.

Last Saturday hubby and I went to Earls because we had a giftcard. Wow - expensive place to eat! Bill came to $40 total (with tip) and this was just two of the more reasonably price meals on the menu with water! Anyway, fast forward to today and, after grocery shopping, I had four full bags of groceries - mainly produce and dairy for less than $40! I couldn't help picture the measly $40 meal in my mind in contrast to the four full bags of food!
