    Good Morning Everyone,
Woke up around 5 but managed to fall back asleep until about 6. Decided since I was up I would start laundry so first load is going now.

I am kind of torn on how my day will go. There is so much to get done around the house but we discovered a huge issue from our System upgrade last weekend and now it needs to be fixed and best time to do it is over the weekend when no one is logged in. I am not sure how long fixing this problem will take as it is going to be a bunch of trial and error.

Oh well for now I am going to enjoy a cup of tea and go from there.

    Have a great day everyone

    happy Saturday everyone.

I cashed in my swagbucks earlier this week for a new wireless router. it is so fantastic. my 18 yr od son installed it for me. and I gave the rather large box to my DC kids to play with. they had a blast.
we decided to save our ( my ) swagbucks for stuff for Christmas, something that saves us money or that brings value to our lives.

today I am working on just getting the house as clean as possible. I have a few things to list on kijiji ect. nothing is selling for me right now. sadly.
Imay do some mending later today as well........ or kntting. just a relaxing day around here...

I think I have had a good day so far,
The last load of laundry is in the washer.
Kitchen is now clean constant struggle in our house.
Bathroom is clean with the exception of the floor which I will do after I eat
A Batch of Meatballs in Mushroom Gravy is in the fridge for dinner one night this week
A Batch of Pork Chops & Mushrooms in Mushroom Soup is in the Crock Pot for dinner one night this week

Also had a long chat with Mom well she got ready for work that something needs to change as I cannot keep spending my weekends doing all of the house work. She agreed and we will set a chore chart. I have learned she does not like when you point out things she does. Example being she constantly says we need to do something but never does anything but then points out to me I haven't done it. As soon as brought that up she backed down which means she agrees she does it. Hopefully we can turn a corner if not I will my S**t as come April I will travelling again and will not be cleaning every weekend when I get home.

I must say I am also having trouble selling things. I had a ton of things go out the door a couple of weeks ago but now I have a ton of interest but no one ever commits to pick up or asks for delivery which I cannot offer right now due to work. I am not willing to possibly get reported because something happened at work and I miss a delivery. I have put this right on my profile so they should know going into it, but most say something like I see you aren't offering delivery but can you make an exception, nope.

A guy at SDM told me I made his day today. I was behind him in line and he was charged 39.99 for some type of game for his son which he said was marked 35.99-so they checked and were going to give it to him for that. I told him he could get another 10.00 off for SCOP and he said he owed me a coffee which I of course declined. Amazing how many people don't know they should ask for it.

I agree with others lot having tons of luck with items posted, I think quite honestly people just don't have the extra $, I could be terribly wrong but I know we are finding it harder and harder to save up.

    Wishing everyone a great day
2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!

Well even when I planned to stop for the day that didn't happen. I went to make my dinner to discover the potatoes in an older bag are starting to go bad so I made what I needed for dinner and after a quick check on the internet I turned the rest into mashed potatoes. We will use what we need for the meatballs in mushroom gravy I made today and whatever we don't use I will freeze.

Also figured since I had the oven on to make my dinner I would also make a batch of baked rice to have with the pork I did in the crock pot.

I am happy we have a start on meals for the week as I know my week will be insane and Mom had made plans to go out both days she has off which will probably result in my getting home first and I know lately I just do not have the ambition to cook after work.

Time to stop procrastinating and time to get to fixing the system for work. Have a great night everyone.

So, one of the frugal things I do is I have a garden. However I am very anti chemical. So , I use organic fertizers.

about 2 months ago, for 40 .00 I bought off kijiji a vermi composter, with worms already in them. adding a link for those who want to learn more... http://www.marthastewart.com/265287/vermi-composting

any hoo. I have reg composters as well.... but honestly, it is frozen solid. I am hoping this will help in the winter and it is something I can do inside in the winter... so , win win.

any hoo.... you need to on a reg basis add ... plain paper.... and small food scraps .
for the plain paper.... I have been adding torn up empty tp rolls.......

I am hoping by planting season, to have some compost made so I can help the plants.
I am looking forward to some very productive results.

It's been a busy week and it's just going to get busier. Our twins have been teething off and on since Christmas. Baby girl cut her first tooth and we can see the second tooth. Baby boy has been getting up more often at night.

As you are all aware, Dh is running for MLA in our April 4 election. We are attending a variety of events and he has been continuing to door knock. Tonight we attended a 15th annual curling fundraiser in a community 30min away. One part included people "buying" members of the curling teams who are participating in the bonspiel. Dh bought a lady for $200 and her rock was the only one on the button at the end of the competition. He won $6,820!! We still get a tax receipt for the $200 donation. Wow was that ever a nice surprise. A good chunk of the money is going into savings. Some will pay for dh's truck plates and insurance, plus the house insurance. Gives us a bit of a financial sigh of relief, breathing room.

    Good Morning Everyone,
Nice bright sunny day here, not sure on the temp yet as I have not been outside.

Not much planned around the house today as I have to try to get the system bug fixed and not sure how long this will take. I am thinking of putting a roast in the oven that we can use this week for lunches and dinners, anything we do not use can be frozen for later use.

Hope everyone has a great day
