Tomorrow for Canada Day we plan on going to the Kinsmen Park that is 4 blocks away. It was only a few years ago that I learned about the free Canada Day activities that they put on each year. The Kindmen have a free BBQ, cake, popcorn, snow cones, cotton candy, drinks, face painting, slip n' slide, paddling pool, large sand area, and the regular play equipment, and large grass area. We always went to the town 11km away, the only Canada Day festivities that we were aware of which includes a parade, fundraisers, baseball games, fireworks, etc.

Good Evening Everyone,
Another long week and wish I could say it was over but I am working this weekend so we will see how that goes.
This is the first time I have gone shopping in weeks, I find the easiest way to not spend money is to just not go into the stores because I really needed to achieve no spending at all to catch up on some bills.
Tuesday night I went to Wal-Mart after work to grab some stuff for Mom well I was there I grabbed some Blueberries (big pack for $1.99) and a big bag of polyfil to finish off the sheep pillows I have on the go.
I had not planned to do anymore shopping until next pay day but after looking at the No Frills flyer I decided to stop in after work. I grabbed a bunch of vegetables, peppers, mushrooms, portabello mushrooms, zucchini which I will grill this weekend. Also grabbed some strawberries. All and all I spent under $15 so I am happy.
My goal this weekend is to sort out a basket of clothes I have living beside my closet door, decide what will go into the closet and what can go. Anything I decide to get rid of will be posted for sale. I also want to go through my posted items and lower some prices.
Have a great long weekend everyone2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,
follow along as tackle day to day life and whatever else 2021 throws at me:

No big plans for the holiday weekend. We will go and visit our out of town friends who will be camping in the mountains on Saturday. DD has been booked for a few shifts selling Stampede wear at the store she has worked at for the past 3 summers-unfortunately we will be away for most of Stampede so she is taking advantage of the earnings before we leave in 10 days time. I have a couple more childcare shifts booked next week and I think DH is already missing his school year job. No doubt next week will get busy with cleaning and packing to go away. Hope everyone has a nice long weekend!
