@Natalka , like Avon mentioned, pretty darn great that you have a team that keeps tabs on you the way they do!! It must be frightening to hear something like that, but it's treatable, so as long as you do exactly what you've been told, that should clear up. Right? Have you ever had this particular issue before? I know that people who are in hospitals on bedrest can be prone to pneumonia, which is why they have to keep moving...I know you're doing your exercises, but dang getting water down can be a PITA!! When is she or he coming back to check on your progress?? All the best, Nat!!
'Night, all.....sweet dreams!
Drinking water......hits close to home, lol!!

Good morning...another sunny day, but there's a real chill in the air this morning that feels like a wee reminder of what's to come. Something wicked, certainly!
+9, heading to 22....much more reasonable then those 30s we've had in July.
Enjoy your day, everyone!Last edited by Lynn49; Wed, Aug 14th, 2019 at 07:38 AM.

I hope you're more awake now @danger_dan
Sadly, we are only at 23 degrees right now @Lynn49
I think it's supposed to warm up into the low 30s this weekend though

This diet is really working lol. It usually has been but things get stalled when I eat some chips or something. Anyway I had been stuck around 240lbs for a few weeks. Today I weighed in at 231.4.. I was stupid and forgot to take a pic of my original starting weight of 340 when I started last May but I do have a few progress pics.

Oh, I love the pic of the kitty with the 'bowl cut', so very sweet!
The last time I had this lung issue was two years ago, but it had already led to severe pneumonia. Even with meds then, it was taking a long time to clear - and just when they said I would probably have to have my lungs drained, it cleared up. Almost like my lungs were scared of the thought of those needles...
I don't spend a lot of time in bed, not at all. I am working on the water - my son had bought me a double walled metal cup which really keeps ice water cold a long time, so that helps a lot. I have to keep a close eye out for swelling - because I sure as heck do not want to go back on a diuretic! So we do daily monitoring morning and evening. At any time I need, I can call for a home care nurse, or a Dr.
Had a bad nausea day into evening yesterday. Around nine, I was able to have some soup and crackers, then had the same for breakfast today. Was able to have toast for lunch, so that was good. However I am missing protein, maybe I will be okay to try chicken at supper.
Have a great rest of the day, everyone!

Did you see that moon tonight? So beautiful as it was rising!
Went to Hamilton today to see my BrotherR's specialist. Came away with a lot more investigations to pursue. The idea is to rule out what is NOT affecting his balance so a plan to move forward can be most effective. BrotherB is going to help with some of the arrangements.
I got all my laundry done so I can pack. Tomorrow Tootie gets groomed. I have to pick up dry cleaning and finish making the cemetery gravestone saddle which I have started.
Watching The IN Between and then to bed.
Good night my friends!
