OH, thanks @walkonby...I picked up a few more trinkets, girly jewelry, stickers, etc this morning for her..the little thing's had a time of it unfortunately, otoh, thank heavens for such wonderful grandparents! She's 8 and our DD says she'll probably be their future DIL!!

So here's a story .... I admired a little plastic ring she was wearing and she said, " (GS) put it on my finger. I made him. Are we married now?" Hahahaha!! Poor muffin...I explained to her that no, she's not married, that she'll have to wait until she's finished university, has a career...then she can get married.

As to the kindness in our GS's heart, our DD has instilled that in him from day one....I may have contributed to it a bit.
So here's another one for you: When he was a little tyke he was about to step on an ant on purpose and I stopped him and said he shouldn't do that, that all creatures have a right to be alive and free,, etc...well didn't his Mom kill a spider in the house weeks later, and omgoodness, she got a verbal lashing from him for being a "murderer" of all things!! Lololol!!!

Yep, life is interesting around here!

Hi again- one of my meds is making me a little light-headed so am lying down again.
@Lynn49 -your e-mail was stuck in "drafts" for some reason, but it should be there now if you have a minute.

I'm doing laundry while I lie down so I am not being totally lazy.
@Lynn49 - that video on the Weather Network shows a little community by the lake where dh and I considered buying a house. I did a baptism at one of the homes they were featuring on the video. A beautiful home -complete with brake water but no match for Mother Nature it seems. How awful for those home owners who live along what is called "dyke road". On the other side of the road are all the black soil onion fields. I how those farmers are ok, too.

Well, my dryer is singing to me. Better go switch up the laundry.

Good morning friends!
Those fake dinosaurs are so annoying- when there are so many poor dinosaurs looking for work!😄

Well it will be another trip to the vet when I can call to get her in. Poor Tootie's bum problem seems to be troubling her again - she was restless and whimpering from time to time in the night.

So, I should launch and take my morning pills so I can eat in an hour.
