Feels like 32° outside but we've had a nice breeze.

Nice afternoon with my bro. Chicken, boiled potatoes with dill and peas for supper. Plus pumpkin pie which was on sale for $3.00 for dessert. Sadly, couldn't find any whipped cream but it was still good.

Evening of chilling, laundry, dishes and Bones binging. Typical Friday night.

Our bd. Of Ed is one where primary kids will be going back full time and high school - limit of 15 kids with date on, day off.

About the children going back to school, they are getting masks and hand sanitizer provided. They will stay in the same class all day and eat lunch inside or (preferably) outside. There will be a public health nurse assigned to each school to help staff and students with proper masking, gloving, unmasking and ungloving. If it is appropriate, there will be COVID testing in the school if they find that a cluster of students test positive. No idea how many students make a cluster. I think BC did o.k. in their June school re-opening

The daycares are open and they are hoping they can learn from these little ones, since it is hard to tell toddlers not to touch each other.

Hello, we just got in from visiting with the kids, playing euchre (my SIL and I win 2 of 3 games)...the humidity has dropped slightly, but it still makes breathing more difficult. It gets dark so quickly, but we had a solar lamp to get us thru the last game.

I'm sure not looking forward to our GS going back to school in spite of his enthusiasm. No more hugging... I just pray this doesn't cause another covid wave, but I dont understand why anyone thinks it won't.

Hi! I'm here!

It has been quiet on here, usually is come summer for some reason. I guess that in spite of the virus we still get outside, sit in our gardens, or, if you're @WALK ing, you binge-watch Netflix! Hahaha!

It's quiet at camp also, there are those of us who are social-distancing, but there's a group here who go golfing a few times a week, visit each other's trailers, etc, but we dont want get into that. Its likelybthair "pod", but nope. We'll sit and chat with the prof and his wife, they're good company and our Hubbys enjoy scotch together and each bring various brands to compare them, lol. A couple of ladies down the street hang out, but we have the kids and Grandson that we don't want to take any chances with. Lots of chatting, card-playing, music...it's all we need and want.
It's not fun, however when a 12-yr old Grandson and our DD beat us at euchre! Hahaha!

Can you believe it's AUGUST already?! It's almost Christmas!
