I see our Sports Reporter is on the job this morning, thank you, @walkonby , for keeping us up to date, we only watched the Braves' win last night. Good luck to our Leafs, I imagine they'll need it.

A typical fall day today, the kids will be attending a memorial funeral for our SIL's uncle....90 years old...Our GS is still sleeping so we'll check in on him at 11am, but he'll likely have made his eggs for breakfast already...he'll call to get picked up to come over if he's ready before that.

Not much going on, pickings were slim wrt recliner sofas here that were available before next February! We found a snuggly, cushy, tweed fabric one that I found comfy for my back and for following my internist's instructions to keep my legs elevated. No problem! Lol!

Halloween is thankfully almost over! Yaya!! Now on to Christmas!!!

Too lazy to form the 16 kaisers from the huge ball of dough, I went the path of least resistance and thank goodness it turned out so well!




Boy, the Astros left the field with some egg on their faces! Blew that 2-0 lead and lost. Leafs triumphed with another win!!
So did the Raptors ( by the skin of their teeth again ) AND the Argos! All winners yesterday.

Speaking of leftover Halloween candy I'm glad I bought a small box cuz we set a new record low of one trick or treater! (last year 5).
Where we live, there are just houses on one side of the street so it's not worth your while to come. While just up the street it's a different story. I was also thinking it may be due to Covid but then I saw @ Lynn49 post! More bars for me to polish off ,but it will be a slow go as I don't have it too often.
Although the sun is shining it's a cool one out there but managed to get my walk in. Every bit helps my friends,just do what you can, but do.

Awww, except for you @danger_dan Mondays are still hard aren't they?
A so-so day here for us. No plans for me on the outside but DH has to renew his OHIP card today.
He was forced to make an in-person appt. because you cannot renew just the OHIP, must be both Drivers License and OHIP when you do it online ?
What a ridiculous system that is. What if a person does not drive?
I'll be here when he returns to listen to the red tape tales that I am sure he'll embellish....tee hee.

What about them pesky Astros fighting back to victory from a 1st inning Grand Salami by the Braves that saw them at 4-0 ?
No more bothersome National League rules now that they are heading back to Houston for game(s) 6 and maybe 7?
