    Hey guys, it's COLD out there!
    I usually do a barefoot walk out to the recycle or large food bins and this morning the soles of my feet screamed at me! @GoJays I suppose you could say it was NOT beautiful in their " soles " ....bwahahaha!

    Good chilly morning all!
    There's been frost on the ground and all the vehicles for the past few mornings now...
    Twas a brisk -3 deg. C out this morning when I got up to let the dogg'o out. He took a few steps out onto the frosted grass, and looked back as if to say 'dad the cold is back!', hurried off to do his business and came trotting back ready to curl up on his warm pillow again!

    Have a safe, and warm Thursday everyone.

    An earlier start to my Friday than I had planned but when the foot started to show signs of improving I wanted to get busy with anything! So I set my sights on the fridge freezer ( the smallest of the ones here ) and emptied it all out, cleaned, sorted through the mystery bags playing my favourite game of what was this?
    I'm thawing 3 single serve Tupperware containers filled with what I hope is soup....it's green and pureed, must be soup.
    Par baked all the ends of bread from various loaves, will make crumbs later.
    Thawed the 6 sandwich ziplocs that held very ripe bananas...turned out to be 3 cups worth once it was mashed so there are now 3 loaf pans of banana bread baking.
    This small purge made a nice difference....now I can think about making and freezing a couple of Christmas sweets?

    TGIF everyone! Enjoy yours. Oh and just a mention that the Leafs have now won 4 games ( IN A ROW ! ) , 2 were in O.T.

    @walkonby , really happy to hear you're back on your feet again, overachieving. Lol!
    I've also been thinking of cookies to freeze for Christmas since I love icebox cookies, sheets of squares, but is it just a tad too early, I wonder?

    Solidified plans with the kids for our next Christmas get-away, the Onyx in Punta Cana, IF the world continues revolving with no major disasters or new pandemics.

    Off to my chiropractor, then time to play with my Cricut. Busy days, lol!

    It is Lasagna Saturday! Well here at least. A mega sized pan ( 5 layers deep ) is in the oven atm.
    This is the weekend we get an hour extra sleep right?

    With lasagna THAT thick, you are pretty much guaranteed an extra hour of sleep, regardless of whether or not you change the clocks.
