Good morning!

Decided to go to camp for the weekend in spite of a fibro flare-up leaving me weak and tired; I've just overdone it the past 2 weeks and am paying for it. I'd rather just stay in bed for 2 days or so, but dang it, how many gorgeous weekends like this do we have each summer?!

@walkonby , I was too tired to watch the game last night, left at 9:45 to hit the sack, but what a great surprise to wake up to! Of course the lightning are protesting that goal...whiners.

@Lynn49 really? Tampa protesting THAT goal but they had NO issues shooting a puck at the Avalanche goalie's head which caused his mask to unsnap and fall off, puck hits the ice and they slammed a shot, not even caring that it might hit his face as it went into the net?!

Yeah, sure THAT goal they scored in the first minute of the game was o.k. ? Not by a long shot imho.
Anyways, it goes back to Colorado now for " hopefully " the last game and for the Avalanche to hoist that Stanley Cup!!
So exciting huh? More fun when I don't have as much angst while watching because the Leafs aren't in it.
I still have stomach knots but not as many....lol

Here’s to another HOT day at work . Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited to finally have the normal sunshine instead of the usual WETcoast liquid sunshine but it’s just miserable at work when you have yo wear a mask and gloves and work in a hot environment. Oh well, it’s a living.

@walkonby , tummy in knots? Absolutely...as well as talking quite loudly at the TV refs, making snarky remarks aimed at the lightning team...I was too exhausted to stay to the end, but it was a nice surprise with my morning coffee, and yes, on the the hoisting of the cup next game!! I'm trying to support our SIL'S family with a relative on the TB's management team, but.....2 years is enough. Hmph.

No sunshine today!! Not sure where the rain came from it wasn't in the forecast. I'll be heading down the road here to continue teaching a gal here to knit, she's so fun to teach her first items, 2-needle tube socks, lol...she wanted socks and these are the easiest right now. Many more lessons to go!

So! A day with our DD and GS (he takes Fridays off school) under their awning!

Happy Fete Nationale! Today is St Jean Baptiste day in Quebec and it is a national holiday here. Everything is closed except essentials and some restaurants (essential for some). Last night i heard the fireworks, scared the cats.

Good afternoon everyone!

The countdown to both the Jays game and the NHL ( possibly the last!! ) game is on! Eight o'clock for both.
Why do they televise them both at 8:00? Regardless, DH and I will be there, as in sitting on the edge of our seats.
We are going to enjoy a great fun dinner tonight that I " penciled in " for 7 p.m.
I've got everything ready to go....Perogies are boiled and fried, coconut shrimp is battered, coated with flakes and waiting to deep fry, Air fried a whole chicken, garden salad is constructed. Daikon radish sticks and other finger veggies, but no dip!
A beautiful Italian Rose is accompanying the meal....I am allowing myself 3 ounces. ha ha

Drink in the gorgeous weather if ya got it.....we do!

@walkonby the Tampa Bay Lightning will get to play another day. My house is still divided in the play offs. my older DD is more invested in the Lightning than the younger DD . My DH and I are rooting for the Avalanche .

Back home after 1 night at camp: our RV lost airconditioning, so in spite of the efforts of friends on the street, no solution was found. So, we have a repair guy going to the island from here on Thursday to repair it. When we hear it's fixed, well go for the weekend, but of course THIS is the funniest, hottest weekend we would have had there.

Sc opened on a strange page this morning, I thought it was a new format and was ready to disappear. But this attempt resulted in the usual way, so I'm still here.

Stoopid game last night, but thankfully I was asleep when it happened.
