@GoJays , @ walkonby, I have seen commercials with Will .Farrell in ELF and have to shut the channel down so fast while gagging! I don’t know what it is about him, but the dislike is palpable. I can’t separate the actor from the acting….it’s still him!

Ah, @walkonby …..you’re going to have such fun planning Christmas dinner, decorating and best of all, buying presents!!! I’ll have to live vicariously through you so you know you’ll have to email me every step of the way!

im not allowed to buy presents since we’re all going away….but, but….I think our DD knows very well that I can’t not buy something for our dear Grandson!

So for me….one more cataract surgery, then matching Mother-Daughter tattoos!!

I feel the same way about both Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt, but I still watch nearly every single movie both of them appear in because I know they're going to be good. The same can't be said about WF movies though, most of them are bombs

Good day fellow thread dwellers! Already Wednesday which is alright cuz it’s taken me this number of days to actually know what day it is rather than thinking Monday was Sunday and Tuesday Monday…
Had a good Thanksgiving with just DW and I but were able to feed some others who would otherwise not have the traditional dinner. Yesterday was an off day for me so today is catch up day rather than ketchup day which I would rather prefer,especially with fries.
Hope everyone is keeping well and enjoying what warm weather we have left.The leaves around here and up north are beautiful.
Enjoy your day as I must now move on to something else so that I can take my mind off the ketchup and fries…so good!

Our DS just shared a crazy ad with us that was on Bumble.....and OMG! The girl holding the baseball bat at the plate does NOT look any older than 12 to us, and the items being "pitched " to her are eggplants....yes, EGGPLANTS.
So she is swinging the bat and smashing away some of them and then she decides to bare hand catch the last one. Yeah, it is a very large eggplant.
Apparently this new feature on their site is now allowing a person to trash the " eggplants " they don't want and keep the ones they do.
( just ewwww! shudder!!! )
Whatever.....carry on, sorry I may have overshared here. At least I didn't post the actual ad eh?

DD just asked us if we want to meet her for lunch, so not quite the quiet day I envisioned. Lol.

I’m overly sensitive…allergic?…to eggplant @walkonby , so pass the bat!

Like you, @flemeth , one day rolls into the next, we have to amuse ourselves in any way we can. For me, next on the list will be making our Christmas cards, and DD’s centrepieces for her office + bank Christmas dinner.

We tried to drop off the 16 toques I knitted to the Samaritan Centre here yesterday since we had to go downtown for my mammogram….closed. Got back to the car, phoned…..can’t take our call right now.
Geez! This was mid afternoon!
