The cats got catnip bubbles from a friend for Christmas, much needed morning giggles as Roo decided he needed to pop every one of them and growls if he misses them. Will have to try and take a video if I can get him to do it in daylight on the weekend

Good morning, everyone!!
Quiet day around here.
@FallenPixels : catnip bubbles? I'll have to look that up and pick them up for DD's family cat. She plays fetch just like a dog, usually with those rubber wrist bracelets with the 'sayings' on them; drops them right at our feet, ready to hunt it down again. Crazy little nugget! Loves her Daddy, tolerates our Daughter.
@Natalka ...wow, your temps dropped quickly!! -3 here this morning, going up to -1, but we have a warning about freezing rain an ice pellets. That's better than white crap, anyway....unless one actually has to go out there! Hope you get some quality sleep today, Hon.
Everyone, have a great day, stay warm and safe!

Watched a video of cats with catnip bubbles...yes...I'll be picking that up for their cat.
Which got me watching cats afraid of cucumbers.
Which got me watching cats scared of just about anything.
I was in a time-warp, I think, but felt like that Nike commercial with a woman's voice listing off all the junk we waste our time watching on tv when we should be engaging in activities better suited for a healthier lifestyle.
Have you seen/heard that commercial? I LOVE IT!
I tried to find it, but couldn't....anway, she lists off things we watch on tv: celebrities on red carpet, celebrities wearing sunglasses, celebrities wearing sunglasses while walking on red carpet, celebrities without makeup, and other stupid things...it's really the BEST!

Yes, THOSE, Walks!! Thanks for finding them!
I love them!! Her voice is, I think, supposed to be representative of a computer-generated voice.
But really, she's right!
When I recall the years not having a computer (although I don't know what I'd do without it now!), we were all engaged in actually DOING something!
I think what we all need, and this is just my humble opinion, is to shut down for a day or two and see what we can really accomplish.
You first.

This is the message that I really enjoy...as you may know I don't follow celebrities, and probably couldn't recognize most of the photos of them, nor name them, so this one hit home for me. They're SUCH a waste of time!!!!!

Well, I spent my respite time going to the walk-in clinic as the Dr. That I had applied to had lost my application.
But, this clinic Dr. Decided that I have a significant hypertension problem and I start on new meds tomorrow. So my migraines and vision issues may be related. So tomorrow I am going to try to get a FAST forward to a local opthamology centre to check out my vision. I am a little scared about this. My sleep apnea for which I have been avoiding using the mask, may also be involved. Since we moved I have not been able to find the actual mask.
I think I will order one tomorrow.
Yikes - caregiver better take better care of the caregiver.

@Lynn49 The bubbles they got are SmartyKat ones from Walmart, a tiny little bottle which is only $1ish but doesn't last long. I stopped by PetSmart last night and after 2 staffers and a manager all said they had never heard of catnip bubbles but they sounded like a great idea, suffered the WM near it to pick up a couple more of the small bottles. I hate that Walmart. Will have to order a bigger bottle online I guess as these small bottles are a pain to open and I wrecked a nail.
