So @22hicks , new carpeting!! and Jake got a surprise doggy b'day party?

Now I am not sure who has seen this preview of a movie coming out soon but my guess is you will require a full box of tissues per person! hicks and Lynn, you two will for sure, and well....yes me too!

@walkonby - new carpeting was essential. Now that the puppy stage is long gone, I thought it would be safe. Remember all those stains, no way could I get them out. Even the professional carpet cleaners couldn't, and they tried twice. It was time.

Ok, I watched that trailer. I almost cried watching it, so there's no possible way I'd make it through the movie. What a beautiful concept though. Well, maybe I'll give it a try.

^^^ I know right?? I was sitting in the theatre sandwiched between small kids waiting to watch the animated film SING when that trailer came on....I had no choice but to fight back the tears.

Anyway one good thing about being first at food bank. They have certain items that they get in that are very limited. So they do those for no points but only have a handful of them. So I got cheese, pears, potatoes etc on top of the stuff I got using my points. One thing that sucks, they are running low on tuna. They used to be 3 for a point and now they're a point each. Kinda threw my planning off as I had wanted 6 of them lol but I settled on 2.

You are soooo right about this chilly weather though....I sent the dogs out back this a.m., just wasn't in the mood to shiver walk.

Good morning, folks!
We had to cancel DH's trip to see his oncoloyist this morning. He had another bout of vertigo complete with committing - twice.

I have put a call into the nurse who will send a palliative care team nurse who will call the palliative care doctor who is on call for our usual doctor who is on holiday. ( Did you get that?) Meanwhile, I am hoping he can keep his pain meds down long enough for them to get into his system.

But I am going to take another little snooze - woke up with a start when DH was in trouble but- GOOD NEWS- no headache today. Keep my fingers crossed!

My BIL and his wife are still here with us. We are cleaning the house slowly as it got rather neglected while Mr P was in hospital. There's also the legal stuff to deal with and the celebration of his life to plan....
