Woke up early with my inevitable headache. Doesn't help that I banged my head on the freezer handle Friday night.
Dizzy when I move suddenly. So, I take my headache meds and then I'm AWAKE!

I binge watched "Alias Grace" yesterday- partially to reduce the number of recorded shows on our TV. Fascinating. The lead actress did a wonderful job. Eyes played a big part in the plot development.

I actually put out a Christmas "throw" on the couch yesterday. Now comes the "scurry-hurry" that is Christmas.

Hi everyone hope your weekend is going great. I was busy with family visiting from out of town also went
to visit my DD at university it was a great visit she had lots to say wish I could have taken Thor our dog for her to visit with she is missing him but we were going out to brunch so he had to stay home it was great to see her and catch up @22hicks hope you are feeling better you are in my thoughts and prayers every day. @Lynn49 I was at the Mall today and it was crazy busy I guess everyone is trying to get there Christmas shopping done with all the sales Couldn't deal with the line up at Sephora so left empty handed will go back tomorrow to get some things for my DDS for Christmas. ha ha !!! @Lynn49 I KNOW!! I confess, I did some stocking shopping ( small items ) and the trick is to hide them well, but not so well that I cannot find them Christmas Eve to load into the stockings.
Funny thing about purging....I found 3 small items in DH's tools area ( while I was doing the dreadful sort, keep, donate or toss game ) that I had given him in Christmases past.
They were still in the packaging so....... I am going to re-wrap all 3 and place them back in his stocking this year JUST to see if he notices.

Who said Christmas isn't fun? Oh wait, maybe that was me a week or so ago.
I made a batch of mincemeat filling today...it is soaking in the sealed jar in the fridge ( in rum ) so maybe I am starting to warm up to the idea of maybe decorating a bit.

Oh and I read back a few posts...
so sorry for you heartache @Darth Penguin @22hicks , hoping you can maybe take antibiotics for your throat.

This weekend sure blew by fast for us....my guess is they will all be like that until Christmas arrives.

Hauled the remaining summer plants from the patio up the hill to the composting area. Had to pour hot water on the scarecrow because they were frozen into the pot.
Then I was pooped. BrotherB asked us over for supper. It was good. BrotherR woke up from his nap with his rashes back. So, all bedding and clothing has to be 're-washed to be sure he's not allergic to the detergent. Before we go to bed.

Also he needed more Benadryl and moisturizing cream. I guess we'll call the Dr. Again in the morning.

Is anyone you know observing "November?" in support of prostate cancer research?

Well, laundry and bed making await.

Good morning SC Family!
Back to work for me...I did NOT miss that commute in, at all, last week.
I hope everyone is well, or on the mend in little to no pain (hopefully all those wonderfully coloured pills are working their magic, if you are taking any)

Checked my work emails, and it looks like I'll be busy for most of the week catching up.
I hope no one is offended if I don't read back through all I've missed in the thread last week...just a little swamped right now.
I will endeavour to scan back later today, get caught back up to speed, and fill you all in on the goings on on my week off.
