Morning folks.
Well we know winter's over in the GTA...'cause it's now Construction Season. Stupid construction crews had all night to work, yet they decide to start their construction work and lane closure at 5 am...added an additional 30 minutes to my commute...*sigh*

Going to be a nice day out there.

No kidding @danger_dan ! They decided to spray the white lines on the streets in my neighborhood this afternoon. WHY??? The paint takes all of fifteen minutes to dry. Why can't they paint them overnight? These are the lines right at the corner so idiots know where to stop because the stop sign isn't a clear enough indicator. So half the street width is blocked off with little orange cones to protect the damn fresh paint. Everytime you want to go through an intersection, you had to veer over into the opposite lane. What happens if a car is coming the other way, geniuses?

^ just heard that news, too, how awful.

Home care nurse checked and cleaned lower legs, said one is almost cleared up, the other should clear up soon (places where blisters were), so good news there. She was even kind enough to bring in a box which had been delivered, from the front deck - which turned out to be extra nice since it's now raining.
Others have checked the mailbox, too - guess they are just so nice that way!

I had stayed up all night, had about a half hour of sleep before six. After the nurse left, it was after 10, then I slept for almost an hour. I'm going to head back to bed soon to see if I can sleep a bit more, so I'm not so much of a growly bear when my husband comes home! (yes, he puts up with a lot from me!).

Looks like it's going to be another nice day out there today...maybe a few showers later, but nothing major. @Natalka , glad to hear you're doing well and on the mend, and hopefully you were able to get some sleep before too late in the day, and some shut eye last night.
@flemeth , that's a job well done. There are way too many little branches and such for me to go around even to rake into a pile for burning. I'll just let them be for now, and they'll dry up in no time. Then it's through the lawn tractor along with the grass that's starting to grow like no tomorrow...

Good morning!

Dan, I couldn't sleep again yesterday aft, but was able to get three sets of at least 40 minutes overnight. It's just so frustrating! I'll try mid-morning again. At least I won't feel so weak and wobbly.

Had quite a cold night here, it may just tip into the teens today.
